  2. Good win for Leeds yesterday. I got a good feeling that we can do this season and I think we have on of the 3 strongest squads in the league
  3. 5. Club, although there are differences between the passion between the two. If England won the World Cup, everyone would be rejoicing in the streets. England would have the biggest party ever and no-one would critise the team. However with the club, you may be the only one of your mates who support that team so no matter what, you have the fun arguments with your mates about how you deserved it. All the banter in the pubs on a saturday night comes from people supporting a range of clubs, all arguing the same points each week. Out of my mates, only I could bask in the glory of my club winning the Champions League and I'd love it
  6. I think Dacourt is a brilliant player on his day, and the only reason he left Leeds was due to a falling out with the manager (Venables at the time I believe)
  7. Science isn't odds on to go at all, he's favourite to stay and probably make it to the final three to. ←
  8. Science is odds on to go this week, leaving us with no-one to stir it up
  9. Stevie Stone has signed for Leeds today, meaning we now finally have two wingers. One more big signing is expected this summer. Lee Clark, Rivaldo and Milner (on loan) are all mentioned as being one
  10. Seeing as the Prem gets a new thread for the new season, here we go. Championship Fixtures - 6th August Coventry v Norwich * Crewe v Burnley Crystal Palace v Luton Derby v Brighton Hull v QPR Ipswich v Cardiff Leeds v Millwall Reading v Plymouth Sheff Utd v Leicester Southampton v Wolverhampton Stoke v Sheff Wed Watford v Preston * Norwich have agreed to switch grounds for the fixture, decision remains with the FA League 1 Fixtures Barnsley v Swindon Blackpool v Chesterfield Brentford v Scunthorpe Bristol City v Doncaster Gillingham v Colchester Hartlepool v Bradford Milton Keynes Dons v Bournemouth Nottm Forest v Huddersfield Oldham v Yeovil Rotherham v Walsall Southend v Port Vale Swansea v Tranmere League 2 Fixtures Barnet v Bristol Rovers Cheltenham v Bury Grimsby v Oxford Utd Leyton Orient v Macclesfield Lincoln City v Northampton Peterborough v Chester Rushden & D'monds v Darlington Shrewsbury v Rochdale Stockport v Mansfield Torquay v Notts County Wrexham v Boston Utd Wycombe v Carlisle Southampton/Wolves is the stand out game for a certain Glenn Hoddle, who will make his way back to the South coast. Other big games include Palace/Luton, Sheff U/Leicester and Leeds/Millwall Good start for Leeds, our games following Millwall are Cardiff (a), Luton (a) and Wolves so I can really see us getting something out of them
  11. I've got used to selling our best players for next to nothing. Spurs got a bargain And McNamara has signed for Wolves, and Parker has offically signed for Newcastle
  12. Lesleys favorite to go this week, thank fuck and oh yea I can't believe no-one has picked up on the fact they were sucking their own thumb
  13. Barnsley may be down the bottom too. Not Watford as they haven't spent much time (if any, don't think they have) out of the top 2 divisions And Leeds, 8th (Y)
  14. I personally find Saskia hotter than Sam, just
  15. I have a bad feeling its going to be Maxwell and Science up for eviction. They just seem to be 2 of the most normal ones in there, and the funniest. Then again, the best ones always go early
  16. Baros has always confused me. I mean number 5 up front?
  17. Leeds are linked with Rivaldo and are set to sign Michael Gray
  18. Fucking Kevin Blackwell. He thinks selling the young players and buying in older ones is the way forward. Selling Lennon, Walton and Richardson in the summer. Their replacements are none other than Weir, Short and Steve Stone. And he's keeping Kelly, Wright, Moore and he's trying to sign King. Needs to be sacked I think
  19. Due to the closeness between teams on the last day, especially at the bottom this has been great for the neutral. Fair play to Baggies for staying up. 4th place was closer to bottom than top too, and I think next season is going to be closer.
  20. As a Leeds fan, I hate the Istanbul chants. Wheres your money gone always annoys me
  21. Again, I also like seeing new players given a chance. I think friendlies should be used to try out new players/formations. Out of the line up you suggested, I'd probably play Crouch over Johnson, although I'd like to see them get half each. The other thing is I'd play Jenas over Carrick Now with Sven's mentality, I'm thinking the squad is going to be: James, G Neville, Campbell, Brown/P Neville, A Cole, SWP, Hargreaves, Jenas, J Cole, Defoe, Smith Joey Cole looks to be Englands left sided answer for now, so Sven will probably play him them and have Downing warming the bench. I also have a feeling Campbell won't go still
  22. The harsh reality is that if Defoe pulls out, then the two strikers starting the first game could be from the Championship (Crouch and AJ)
