  1. We've only lost one though. Lets not forget that its not even the end of September yet so anything could happen! I say its one from four, Oxford, us Stevenage and Cambridge. We've not played well yet and we've only lost one and are still in it, so when it finally comes together we will put a good run together....no doubt.
  2. We'll catch them! We've not played well yet this season, except for, perhaps the game against Mansfield. We have got Hatch back now from injury giving us the option of a big man up front. I think this is where we kick on and start to change our season. If this does not turn our season round, then i'm very worried. No pressure on Mr. Hatch then.
  3. Its gonna take time for the squad to gel. Give it a while, but if you do come down to the Blue Square, be thankful your still a club at all. Thats what it is like for us at the moment after all the crap we've faced, we're having a new start and rebuilding. Not going bad so far unbeaten in our first four games. You'll stay up anyway....theres far worse sides than you out there.
  4. Gone for a seven teamer this week, plus a three team (certs) bet. Villa, Derby, Sheffield United, Millwall, Rochdale, Luton, Celtic with odds at 42 Chelsea, Luton, Leeds at 3. Also I went for a group bet with: Chelsea to win the league Hull to get relegated West Brom to get promoted Scunthorpe to get relegated Leeds to get promoted Yeovil to get relegated Notts County to get promoted Burton to get relegated Luton to get promoted
  5. Hatch is injured and is having an operation on his foot and will be out for a month before he has even started! White is suspended for three games, but I think both of them will make us a much better side. I watched them pre-season and Hatch especially is exactly the player we need, I think he's great!
  6. It would make no difference if all teams got 3/6 or 0 points, everyone would still be on the same anyway, so just leave it a 0. I want them to stay in the league though, surely the FA should be trying to help football teams instead of trying to hinder them. The 25 points is a hefty enough penalty, too hefty in my oppinion. Just let them play and get relegated which is what will inevitably happen with a 25 point deduction. On a lighter note, Luton crushed Mansfield 4-1 last night in a display that could have provided another four goals. This was with 8 first teamers out either injured or suspended also. Mansfield are supposed to be one of the top sides in this league, so thats a great performance from us.

  9. I'll be in, why not. Team Name : Team SmashMouth! Colour : Brown
  10. Onions bowled very well early doors. Anderson got 4 wickets in 13 balls! A great session!
  11. I doubt it'll be us, we're using a friendly against Peterborough on Saturday to finance a move for a centre back.
  12. He bowled 10 overs straight, only fleetingly going slower than 90 miles per hour, maybe one ball ever 15, it was an amazing spell. He was accurate and dangerous and they couldn't really play him. Shame he's bound to be injured for one of the tests, as he was limping alot. KP might miss out too.
  13. GET IN THERE!! But here comes the drizzle.
  14. Well, see I'll be honest with you here, I didn't know Hleb was going on loan, nor did I know about this money. I literally thought it was a straight swap, I hadn't read anymore on the matter. I think Ibrahimovic will do better in Spain, and I think he adds something new to Barca. I have no issues with Eto'o at all, but Barca made the right move shipping off Ronaldinho perhaps they have done the same with Eto'o. Picking up Hleb is a big bonus for Inter though, and that money could come in handy.
  15. Manucho says hello! Sold off to Valladolid! Also, Ibrahimovic and Eto'o swap deal, who comes off the better? I say Barca.
  16. England win the toss and bat. I've not seen much of the Aussie bowling attack, but i'm not sure it will do much damage. Hopefully we can put on 350+.
  17. Well today is the day, the first day of the first test. Before things get started, lets hear some predictions. I say 2-1, I think we will win in Cardiff due to the lack of Brett Lee and that the pitch will turn and the Aussies have no one who could benefit from that. I think the Aussies will come back hard in the next two tests winning one. We will then win at Headingly, before doing the same as 2005 and batting the Aussies out of the game in the final test.
  18. Ivo Karlovic looks like a good outside bet at the moment. Players are struggling against him, and his high level of quick first serves is very dangerous.
  19. M. Clarke P. Hughes A. Cook K. Pietersen R. Bopara A. Flintoff G. Swann B. Haddin S. Broad M. Johnson S. Clark
  20. Morecambe had come out and said they weren't going to pay more for Gash, so maybe they decided to make it more worth their while they added Charles. Might be a possibility.
  21. Scrap that, it's not York. We might be losing a centre back to Burton, so they could be what we are looking for.
  22. I saw the fourth set as we bought some centre court tickets on re-sale towards the end of the day. That set was excellent and I really thought Querry had a shot at beating Cilic. Also saw Verdasco look average early on in his match, the Bryans dominate, Hantchukova win, Karlovic bored me to tears and Jamie Murray was just dreadful. Overall, a good day out.
  23. Its either us or York i've heard. Apparently it's more likely to be York.
  24. Yeah, we were kind of hoping to be on pretty frequently, and therefore gain a little extra cash from that. In this Ebbsfleet deal, I would possibly accept the offer. Chester already have a ten point deduction and are in all-sorts of disarray, so they could be one of the teams that go down. If Daish plays his cards right and uses every pound wisely, then they have a good chance to survive.
  25. Glen Johnson and Micah Richards are the two most reliable players i've had in my Man City game. It must be your management!
