Why would anyone make a big deal about claiming for a cup of coffee at the airport? I think I'll go into work on Monday and say "I needed to have a cup of coffee to wake myself up so I could drive through here and do my job, so you have to pay for my coffee". I wonder how they will respond. Not paying £300 to water the pitch is pretty ridiculous though.

I can't recall a single Englishman diving. But I can't really remember everything that happens during a whole season. And our no name players don't dive either.

A couple of surprising moves to France for 2 Swedish internationals. Johan Elmander has turned down Rangers, Blackburn and Real Sociedad to sign for Toulouse and Christian Wilhelmsson has left Anderlecht for Nantes.

It's usually unsung hero type players that I like the most but, despite that, my all time hero is Ian Rush. I think it's because of the fact he worked so hard for the team, closing defenders down etc, despite the fact he was the main goal getter and probably didn't get much extra credit for his defensive work. Oh, and his moustache - that ruled.

It'll be interesting to see how Hiddink does with Russia, given that the Russian leagues are getting the influx of foreigners because of all the money in their domestic game these days.
