I couldn't believe that penalty decision. It was so bad that it made the decision in the Milan vs Bayern game look like a stonewaller. Also, I'm sure that Robinson said after the game that the ref told him that he awarded the penalty because Robinson got the ball and then the man. I want to see this referee's rule book, because if that's how he interprets things then absolutely every single tackle will be a foul.

As 'reward' for my old Sunday League teams run to the Scottish Cup 6th round we had to play 12 games in 4 weeks to fit all our games in at the end of the season, and we needed 12 wins to win the league. We get 11 wins, but our last match of the season is 2 days after our goalkeeper goes in for a hernia operation, so we lose 3-0 thanks to our dodgy stand in keeper, one of my best mates gets sent off and threatens to give the ref a doing and we have to stand and watch as the team who were top just have to watch us get beat and then celebrate winning the league. Gutting. Also, St Johnstone's League Cup semi final defeat against Hibs a couple of weeks ago was pretty gutting, as was Liverpool's defeat in the FA Cup final to Man Utd when Cantona scored with 10 minutes to go.

Every year it's the new Football Manager on PC and the new Pro Evo on whatever Playstation console I own at the time. Apart from that I can generally take it or leave it as far as games are concerned, though I do tend to go out 2 or 3 times a year and spend a bit on whatever games tickle my fancy at the time.

Standard Liverpool home European qualifying performance so far. Some nice zippy play but no cutting edge because no-one is in the penalty box. Pennant and Bellamy getting involved though, which is good.

I've went through a rare period of time where I just can't motivate myself to play. I think LLM rules and starting down with a dreggy team might just help me, so I've started a game with only the Scottish leagues running and I'm managing at Albion Rovers, whose squad looks pretty dreadful.

I'm a good 3 seasons in and the guy could barely knock out a good wank, let alone score a goal, infact the Angolan 33 year old seems to be my key man, oh well I'll send out my scouts and hope to find something unexpected.

I know I've seen it before, it it still makes me laugh out loud even more. I think it's because most of the stuff subtitled is CLEARLY got what he's saying. 'KNOB!' just cracks me up, everytime. I started a game as Bellshill Athletic in the Scottish Third Division, and we're doing ok. Got PWNT by Dundee and Partick Thistle 5-1 and 9-1 in various cups, but my main aim was not finishing last in the league. But even losing in my first cup games gave me about £15k, which is great, since I started with £2k (which quickly disappeared). You need to try this.
