GTA: San Andreas

Miami Vice

Too be fair, I didn't really rush through the game. I pretty much took my time, building up stats and stuff. It's just that once you start reaching the later missions in the game, they start becoming stupidly easy, and not nearly as fun.

As for percentage, mines about 60+ % . I've skipped some optional missions (Well, just Supply Lines) and anything that involves collecting (tags, snapshots, horseshoes, oysters, unique jumps, garage). Other than that, I've got all my weapon skills maxed, along with muscle and my flying skill, all the R3 missions done except ambulence (since it glitched on level 12, and I got pissed) and all the territories taken over. Right now I'm probably going to look for the challenges, or start a new game.

I guess it's probably due to me playing too much VC and GTA3, but the game just seems to start getting dull towards the end. To be frank, alot the the time I spent more time GETTING TO the mission than actually playing it. Bah.

*SPOILERS*

To Krazy K:

This is the one where you have to attack the mafia, right? Make sure you're fully equipped, with body armor, smg, shotgun and maybe and M4 as well. Enter the complex by climbing on top of the bus stop, then grab the chainsaw and sneak into the factory.

Once they start shooting, immediately run to your left, killing the technician in your way, and another on top of the boxes. Run towards the forlift at the end, and use your SMG to take out anyone in your vicinity. Then, head towards the pillar, and use the M4 to take out everyone on the catwalks, along with the rest on the other side of the room. Whatever you do, DON'T go near them. One of them has a SPAS12 that can kill you in a few hits.

Once you're sure the coast is clear, whip out your shotgun and take out the machines. Then, slowly inch foward, using your SMG to take out the remainding troops. Once you've got them all destroyed, enter the car and get out the gate. (unless it's locked, in which case circle the complex until it's open). You shouldn't have any wanted stars, so just get back to the casino and you're done.

Never cleaned mine, never had a GTA:SA problem.

There's an FAQ out there somewhere that explains how there's something in the DVD drive part that you can change and that will fix the problem; if you're planning on getting a new PS2 you might as well try that. I think it's at GameFAQs.

Krazy K, It was "You DO know that I'm black, and not Chinese, right?"

Close enough....And is it just me or does WCTR change as the game goes on? I know the news changes as you go along but Entertaining America used to have OG Loc and now it has this cult leader.....or are they two seperate episodes of the show?

I know Radio Los Santos does.

Right after Cesar called about what's happening with the gangs and shit, on RLS, the DJ said something about two Mexican gangs or something feuding, and he hopes they can just chill.

I like that feature. It's cool.

Evidently your PS2 is having problems reading the game...

Seriously though, if you play the game for hours at a time (which I'd assume is true), and leave the game in, this may have something to do with it. When GTA3 came out we ended up breaking my friends PS2, because we'd all take turns playing it (it was essentially on all day) and never took it out.

Otherwise I'd try cleaning any smudges off the disc, and cleaning the vents and tray.

So, I was talking to Cloudy and he asked about the Wang Cars in SF. He told me that someone told him that after you finish the Yay Ka-Boom-Boom you can buy Wang Cars.

I went back to SF to check it and it says I can't but it.

Does anyone know why I can't buy it?

I thought it could've been the game, so I exchanged it for a fresh copy, but I still have the same problem.

I've tried cleaning the disk, vaccuming the dust out, but it doesn't work.

I still can't do it :(

I get to like level seven.

I'm torn between my desire to use the rancher to off road it to the criminals and save time, and my desire to use the police car and fill it up with gang members

Just found this on the GameFAQS message board

- Completion of all game missions

all storyline and side jobs

Side jobs include:

- BMX Challenge

- Chiliad Challenge

- Courier missions (think pizzaboy from Vice City)

- Exports & Imports (the stuff w/ the crane in SF)

- Freight Train challenge (just jack a train and hit R3)

- NRG-500 Challenge

- Lowrider Challenge

- Quarry Missions (in construction site in Bone County)

- Race Tournaments

- completing of Driving, Bike, Pilot, and Boat schools

- Shooting Range (in the ammunations)

- All Stadium Events (8-Track, Blood Bowl, Dirt Bowl, Kickstart)

- Valet Parking

- Burglar mission (have to reach cum. total of 10 G's)

- Firetruck, Ambulance, Pimp (find a Broadway vehicle), Taxi, Trucking (go to truck symbol on map), Vigilante

Acquiring assets from

- Zero's shop

- Wang Auto (car-show building)

- Verdant Meadows Airstrip.

.........meaning you have to beat the missions for all these places, yes that includes all Zero's missions too lol

- Roboi's Food Mart (LS)

- Hippy Shopper (SF)

- Burger Shot (LV)

- Hunter Quarry (Bone County)

- Vank Hoff Hotel (SF)

- RS Haul (Flint County)

....................I'm pretty sure you get these assets by doing the side missions

- Buying all the Save Houses

- All 100 Gang Tags in LS

- All 50 Photo Ops in SF (they're special "tourist sights")

- All 50 Horseshoes in LV

- All the Oysters

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Things of note:

- You don't need to do those side missions Cesar keeps calling you for in San Fierro

- the arcade, gambling, and pool stuff is just for fun

- girlfriends have nothing to do w/ 100% completion

- neither does gang warfare (aka taking over territories)

Don't know how accurate it is.
