Midget's musical tastes > Squancho's . By far. And they would be > * if you didn't had SOAD on #4 =P.

Caution: what I am about to say may have some people wanting to lynch me.

SoaD is slipping, to be honest. They're over-placed on my list if only for the fact that they were riding such a good wave of creativity from their first two works and a decent compilation. Now that they've been considerably silent for a lengthy time, they're in danger of losing a lot of their momentum.

They should've BEEN out and vocal during the 2004 election. They should've jumped all over the Cheney/oil issue, or the misconception of oil being the primary reason for U.S. intervention in Iraq. Instead, they were elsewhere, making only one or two appearances, while Serj and the much-lesser-known Axis of Justice were forced to try and speak out.

It's a double-whammy. Not only did they drop the ball concerning creative momentum, they dropped the ball concerning what they were supposedly ABOUT.

so... here it goes...

10-Dropkick Murphys

9-Ska-P

8-Propagandhi

7-Mad Caddies

6-Kemuri

5-New Winds

4-BlackFlag

3-Rise Against

2-Ignite

1-Rancid

This aren't supposed to be the best or most meaningfull... just the ones i like the most.

P.S. picking only 10 is hard as hell... can i edit this if i remember some bands i'm missing right now? i know i am... :(

EDIT: I checked my album list when i got home and i realized the list i did here didn't make much sense. To be accurate all I can say is these are CURRENTLY the bands i enjoy listening the most concerning the LA Punk/HC scene and the third wave, which are the styles i've been listening to more often these days... meh
