haha, I thought Isiah was bad, Paxson's terrible, but atleast he doesn't bring in shit contracts...well, ones that aren't that bad.

Anyone else see Dallas prossibly sneaking into the WCF, if Phoenix has a long series with Memphis? And by the way, Sacremento are fucking geniuses, dropping a game to the Jazz so now they face the Sonics...that just seemed a little too planned IMO.

The Pistons will repeat in the East. The only team that has a shot against them is Miami and that's why Joe D got Big Elden Campbell back to bang him with Wallace X 2 and Antonio McDyess. Tayshaun Prince will shut down Dwyane Wade like he's done to LeBron, T-Mac, Kobe, etc etc etc. Then what for Miami? Damon "3D" Jones? A Piston cast-off who just shoots threes and cannot handle the ball? Chauncey Billups will eat him up. The Artist Formerly Known as Eddie Jones? Does his jersey come with the fork in his back? Rip Hamilton will run him rabbid by constantly going off screen after screen after screen. Udonis Haslem? Please.

San Antonio comes out of the West, Phoenix cannot keep up that stuff in the playoffs.\

Detroit over SA in 6

Phoenix may not be able to do that but they can move into halfcourt and dump the ball into Amare and work from there, they have the shooters to get them by playing halfcourt.

AnTayshaun won't guard Wade, because Wade is much quicker than Kobe etc, and Tayshaun will probably get lost, they'll leave Rip on him to tire him out. They haven't put Tayshaun on Wade all year, and doubt they would. But Tayshaun will be more of a handful on offence that defence, he's gonna shine this year, IMO.

Western Conference

Phoenix Suns def. Memphis Grizzlies in 5 games.

Detroit Pistons def. Miami Heat in 4 games.

San Antonio Spurs def. Phoenix Suns in 5 games

San Antonio Spurs def. Detroit Pistons in 7 games.

My reasoning for the Pistons beating the Miami Heat in four games? If the Pistons could beat the Lakers [shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, and Gary Payton] last year in five games, what will stop them from beating the Heat [shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade]?

An injured Karl Malone...if the Mailman was alright, that series could have been different.

And the Heat roleplayers > Lakers roleplayers, I'd take the Joneses, Haslem, Doleac, Zo and Laetner over Medvendenko, Rush and a couple rooks in Cook and Walton and Geogre & Fox.

I'd agree with the 5 games, if Tayshaun could keep up with Wade, but because he most likely can't, it means Wade will have an easier time, but the Pistons are still gonna win, but the Heat have great chemistry, don't underrate Udonis Haslem, he's better than people think he is...

It's going 6, maybe 7 depending on how much Wade dominates, but hey, don't forget earlier this month, the Heat lost by 8 I think to the Pistons, and they had no Shaq, and Wade held to 8 points due to foul trouble...

Hey, I think that they would not be that horrible for Game 2. The Hou-Dal series seems to be good one IMO.

Man did Boston kicked Reggie and the Pacers hard. If the Pacers dont pick themselves together, it might be a sweep. Ironically, it was the Pacers who swept Boston last year.

Tomorrow will showcase the remaining game 1 games for the first round...I cant wait to watch the Nets take on the heat. I dunno why, maybe cause I am just curious if Jefferson would be on the floor at some point of the game.

I dunno, it was ok but it wasnt sloppy. Maybe cause I might be just a bulls fan and all so I aint too sure and I'm not that much of an expert in these basketball type of games that features very green teams who havent seen the playoffs for about 7 or 6 seasons.

Yeah, man did Miami kicked some NJ ass. I guess they have to step up on Game 2 if they dont wanna sweep like Miami did during the regular season.

Eastern Conference

Miami Heat def. New Jersey Nets in 4 Games.

Yeah, Nets aren't anywhere near good enough yet.

Chicago Bulls def. Washington Wizards in 6 games.

One has to win, I think the Bulls are a bit better.

Boston Celtics def. Indiana Pacers in 7 games.

Sorry Reggie.

Detroit Pistons def. Philadelphia 76er's in 6 games.

"Valiant" effort, but the Pistons are no pushover.

Western Conference

Phoenix Suns def. Memphis Grizzlies in 5 games.

Grizz get one upset, that is it.

Dallas Mavericks def. Houston Rockets in 7 games.

I think ti could go either way really.

Seattle Supersonics def. Sacramento Kings in 6 games.

Kings are blah.

San Antonio Spurs def. Denver Nuggets in 5 games.

Nuggets are too young.

Miami Heat def. Chicago Bulls in 7 games.

Big fight, but not enough.

Boston Celtics def. Detroit Pistons in 6 games.

Upset!~

Phoenix Suns def. Dallas Mavericks in 7 games.

Hard, hard game.

San Antonio Spurs def. Seattle Supersonics in 6 games.

Close match, but Spurs have the edge.

Miami Heat def. Detroit Pistons in 6 games.

Heat finally make the finals...

Phoenix Suns def. San Antonio Spurs in 7 games.

Hard, hard match.

Flip a coin, because either could win. As long as it's a "new" champion, I will be happy though.

My two least favorite teams in the playoffs are San Antonio & Detroit, so I'm fairly excited about TIMMAY not looking like himself at all last night. I'd LOVE for them to get bumped by Denver here so the West would be completely wide open. I'm somewhat resigned to the Pistons winning the East, so at least this way I could be interested in the other half of the playoffs. The consensus pick of Pistons/Spurs could quite possibly be the worst championship series in the history of American sports, so I'm up for any combination but that one.
