Wow, the Pacers and Pistons both got out early and ran the floor. Surprised to see it's 23-21, but I think we (the Pacers) can hang in there with them. Good to see Reggie got off to a quick start.

Bosh Probably won't do those high Assist number, if he does, Bosh will then own his whole class easily, but I see Bron getting that one day...the first thing, and maybe the second.I like the comparison of Magic/Kareem and Shaq/Wade though.

Dunno why, just love Bosh, like I did Wade last years playoffs, and also do the same for Ginobili, and even to a lesser degree Udonis Haslem.I guess I never thought Bosh would be nothing but with him being more of the focal point in Toronto he's flourished. He has potential to make that team into something especially if they do swing te rumoured trade for Jamaal Magloire to return to Canada.

I'd put Hinrich, Bosh and Melo all on a par, with Wade and LeBron easily infront of them.

I think Miami will provide a tough match up for Detroit, but I say Pistons in six. The Pistons playoff savvy and hard nosed defense will be the deciding factor in this series.

As for the Spurs/Phoenix, I'll go with San Antonio for similar reasons as above. I might be the only one who would enjoy a San Antonio/Detroit finals. Part of it is obviously that I'm a Detroit fan, but I am a sucker for defensive battles. I like watching two teams trying to grind out a victory. I also don't think this series will be as boring as has been predicted, should it come down to San Antonio/Detroit.

the Defensive Efficency of the Heat is higher than the Pistons currently, so I wouldn't say they are better defensively, per say even though I know they are.

And if Steve Nash dominates the way he is right now, with Amare avg. 30+ a game (he did during the reg. season) and TD carrying a injury, the Suns could be them...Joe Johnson coming back though could put them over the edge, especially if he plays to the standard he was.

I'm believing more and more that this Suns team has the energy to go all the fucking way.

My picks are the Pistons and the Suns.

I dont know why, but I feel the Pistons have the formula to stop Shaq and they play good team defense, so they might find a way to stop D Wade. Plus, I think the Pistons have more depth in the bench.

The Suns have the most energy of any team in the league, but the Spurs are a pretty good match thanks to Parker and Manu who are two energixer bunnies themselves. But I think it will all come down to scoring and I believe the Suns have the best 7-8 man rotation in the league, specially if Joe Johnson comes back. It's a team loaded with shooters and guys who can run you off the floor. Duncan is hurt and he might not be able to keep up with the athletism of Amare and Marion.

Heh, we handed the Suns to you guys just at the right time. The Suns are tired, even if they still are scoring over one hundred. Stoudemire can't stop Duncan, and Duncan is too slow to guard Stoudemire. Nash isn't an effective defensive player, so I assume Tony Parker will be taking him to town each game. The Suns don't have enough depth to handle both Manu Ginobili and Brent Barry, which showed in game one with Barry going 5-8 from three point range. This will be the only time I say this in life:

Go. Spurs.

If Detroit wins tonight, it'll be the last NBA game I watch until the lockout is over. What a shitty finish to what had been an otherwise exciting season. I'll call it right now, Detroit vs San Antonio will be the lowest rated Finals since before everyone had cable TV.

Suns coming to San Antonio down 0-2. Spurs are playing great defense when it matters the most and the Spurs offense>Suns offense after 2 games.

As Stephen A. Smith would say..... "This series is OVAH"
