It would make sense to be 21, since the last limit that is used in any youth football competitions, appart from the Olympics. I don't even know how old are all of those, but i thougt wright phillips was 23? Maybe they just used the olympic standards.

I think it should be 23, as SWP won't be considered a young player for much younger. Speaking of FM, you can't offer players contracts as 'hot prospects' or 'decent young players' after 23.

Meh, Rooney's had his time in the spotlight. This year he wasn't all that great. Certainly not as great as any of the other nominees.

If Rooney gets it, it'll only be based on his reputation.

For me, Fabregas started off looking shit-hot, but as the season went on, he kind of faded out.

It's a bit of a difficult choice for this one. Arjen Robben has by far been one of the best players this season, nevermind the best young player. But one one hand it seems a little shoddy picking a player who has only played around three month. But on the other hand, he totally turned Chelsea's season around.

I'll be "controversial" and go for Stewart Downing
