Sharapova bombed out (again) today, essentially handing Justine the trophy, 6-4, 6-2. I don't see Petrova giving her any problems in the Semis, nor do I see her having a hard time going up against either Likhovtseva or the Davenport/Pierce winner.

At least the men's side has the marquee match of Federer/Nadal, sadly though that's just a Semifinal, and the winner probably won't claim the title because either Canas or Robredo will be fresher and pick up the scraps. I'm just happy the French is nearly over and I won't have to see another clay court tourney of note until next year <_<

You've just got to love Lindsay Davenport's fighting spirit here as she basically mailed it in halfway through the first set. Now I remember why I used to root for her to get her ass kicked routinely back in the Hingis era. I've never seen a top ranked player quit on as many matches as she does, with the possible exception of Marat Safin. And, if Mary wants to towel off for 20 minutes at a time she can. She used to be the hottest woman on the tour, and she has earned that right :pervert:

I can't WAIT for that potential match of the year in the Men's Semis . . . .Davydenko vs Puerta :shifty: If either one of those guys ends up winning the title, it will be a major letdown, same with either of the Russians left in the Women's draw. I'm hoping Federer and Justine end up winning it all, but both could end up going out in their next match and I don't like it.

I'm hoping for a Nadal vs Puerta final, although we all know Federer is a great player and Davydenko has been in great form throughout the tourney. I don't think either match will be bad. And i think any of the 4 possible results in the finals have about 25% chances of happening. I'm hoping for the Nadal vs Puerta 25's. :P

Well to no one's surprise, Nadal earned his first spot in a Grand Slam final by outplaying Federer. I only hope he doesn't gag the final now that he's passed his biggest challenge. Hopefully Roger will get the 3-peat at Wimbledon to make up for what's been a difficult run at the two majors thus far.

I don't really keep up to date with tennis as much as I used to, but watched the Federer vs Nadal match today. Federer is great and I've been a great admirer of him, but Nadal deserved to win. I havn't seen much of him and was just wondering if he's just one of those clay court specialists or can he play on all surfaces?

For his age he certainly has a lot of potential.

I didn't watch it, I was playing tennis, but I dislike watching Nadal play now.

Every match he wins they should set up a little place for him to go lie down, fucking annoying, he could shake hands first as well, it's disrespectful when one guys waiting to shake hands and the other is lying down for 10 minutes.

Coria is out so I don't care anymore, but Coria hit his racket off the floor~ Breaking news.

And anyone see what Safin done when he smashed his racket, then his sign board and got the point deduction and the warning. Brilliance.
