I loved the 5 track EP and as soon as Drag's drunken post informed me that there was a new album I got it. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I'm sure it's badass.

I was very very drunk. Paid the price for it next morning. But still BFMV are fantastic, and I dunno where RVD gets his music news, but I've hardly heard a bad word said about it.

Heavier places than you probably look, and thats probably why. Although the place I tend to go also did give great reviews to Trivium and Chimaira, so the fact that BFMV isn't uber metal probably wasn't a factor.

Bought it yesterday and What I've heard is very good. Rock Box told me about these a while back and I checked our Four Words and liked it. Haven't listened to the entire album yet because I'm checking out the RAGE albums I bought (along with Little Britain series 2), but the few songs I did hear (4 words, Tears Don't Fall and (I think) Cries in Vain) are all good songs and when I've listened to all the RAGE albums I'll be listening to the full album.

It's just a new heavier form of the Lost Prophets, but instead of ripping of the likes of Far, etc. BFMV just use every Machine Head, Pantera, Killswitch Engage riff under the sun.

Bah, it's all Visual Noise's fault, they sign the pretty rockers and know they'll sell records, first Lost Prophets, now these, who's next? Most likely Bring Me The Horizon.

To further answer Dragsy's question earlier, this is the kind off criticism I've heard of the band and the album.

I don't hear it at all. They're nothing alike. Besides the fact that they use guitars and are Welsh.

From what I can tell of the Lostprophets comparisons, I don't think people are drawing comparisons based on their sound, but rather their image and target demographic.

Also, Lostprophets had a dickhead on decks who jumped around like he was some sort of Welsh twat, which he is.
