Yeah, Swingers was great, but was Made financed by a big studio? Because that had an indy feel, but was also an incredible movie.

Does anybody know if Trainspotting is considered an indie film? This recently came to my mind when thinking about this list. I figure Trainspotting should be in the top ten if it is actually an indie film. As I said, I have no idea where it's funding came from, so I have no clue if it would fit the criteria for indie film.

If Trainspotting is considered an indie than I am fucking surprised it wasn't on this list. I want to let it be known that I don't exactly known what constitutes a film falling under the indie criteria (other than having a smaller budget).
