It might be fashionable to hate them, but that kind of "fashionable" hate tends to stem for justified reasons at some level. Those reasons, for me, being that their music is dull, their vocals terrible, their lyrics clichéd, and them generally being an unappealing band.

I used to like Linkin Park, but now I'm really no longer a fan. Their music just hasn't stood the test of time to me, or at least Hybrid Theory hasn't, and so I'd no desire to listen to more. Especially when I already listen to plenty of good bands, so I don't exactly have to force myself to like them for the sake of it.

Oftentimes that will be the case. Wal-Mart, in all of its infinite glory, will only allow you to exchange for the same product if it's a CD, DVD, or computer game.

If you're lucky enough to get the usual spotty teenager who only works weekends and can't really be arsed and doesn't give a shite, you can get away with it. Not that i speak from experience or anything.
