I'm glad Florida one. All season and up untill this week all you heard was how great Ohio state was and then how Florida shouldn't have even been in the championship game. Clearly they did belong and I'm happy to see them win.

A great job by Florida all around, becoming the first school to ever hold the football and basketball national championships at the same time.

Ohio State looked REALLY flat tonight. It's no excuse, but that was not the same team that went undefeated before that game. They just seemed a step slower. A really off game for them, which was helped by Florida probably playing their best game of the year.

I'd still love to see Boise State get a shot. Too bad it will never happen because Mid-Majors will never get a legitimate shot at a National Title.

Yeah. Is it me or is the Big 10 overrated a bit? Michigan and Ohio State were top two most of the year, and yet they get demolished in bowl games.

What was the Big 10 in bowl games? 2-5? Arkansas had a late TD called back which could've won them the game, and Penn State recovered a fumble and returned in 85 yards to win. They barely escaped with 2 wins in the bowl season.

Florida did outplay Ohio State.

BUT....

Ohio State got screwed by 2 bad calls by the refs during the first half that pretty much drained any momentum they might have gained. Doesn't matter, though, because I think Florida would have beat them anyway.

Certainly. If we want to be picky, we can also point out the two missed holding calls that were right in front of a referee during the opening kickoff return.
