Hiro is one of the best characters on TV today. Such greatness.

He really isn't. Heroes needs to get better in a hurry. If this is the consistent level of crap that will consistently show up both Heroes and Kidnapped need cancelled by NBC.

If the previews for next week is any indicator, Hiro is my new god.

Think about it, 35 to 1 payout if your number falls. Somehow I forsee him and Ando getting kicked out of the casino, though.

Even though they probably won't pursue it on screen, I hope to God they nail that asshole quarterback to a cross for attempted rape and manslaughter.

All in all, good show. I'm going to assume that not only was that black dude with the "S" necklace Sylar, but I also think he might infact be DL. It would certainly show why the little ring was at the graveyard, and how just someone can disappear after stealing two million dollars.

Basically they are just going to slowly set things up till November 6th(Is that the day the nuke went off?)

I thought it was November 5th, but 6th would seem right considering it is a Monday

Hiro and his friend (forgot his name) are the MVPs of this show so far no doubt. I am really into it and hope it lasts a good long time.

No, the other guy who had the Full House found them and beat them, and it'll last longer than Invasion.

I don' understand how Hiro speaks English and is from the future, when the NYC thing is supposed to be like an apocolypse thing.

Hiro can manipulate the space time continium. He can go anywhere he wants in time.

So, knowing you have to avert a major disaster (such as New York going Nuclear) and being in a land where you can't speak the language, and having said power....what does one do?

Just go back to like 1994, rent a shack, and start studying. Then, go, try to stop the events or live through it. I'm pretty sure he wasn't in New York when it happened (Well, at least when the blast wave would've hit him...). It's pretty obvious that he can go pretty much anywhere he wants.

Oh, and Biggz, I was right. The black guy IS DL.

Just finished watching the episode (in class, I R REBEL) and it cool. I love Adrian Pasdar, he's got something strange about him. Hiro is awesome. Ando is awesome. Claire is awesome.

Everyone is awesome, and this show is growing to be quite awesome. Because things happen as opposed to this other ensemble show :shifty:

Things I liked:

1. Ando and, to a lesser extent, Hiro

2. Stiletto heel to the HEAD threat

3. All-around good acting

Things I didn't like:

1. More lame, cliched voice-overs

2. Claire's repeated improbable injuries

3. I still don't buy the 'mutations cause specific, familiar super-powers' concept.

Overall, I'm watching in the hope that the pretext changes. I absolutely hate the mentions of evolution as they have no basis in reality - if they want to create a logical explanation for super-powers, random genetic mutation isn't sufficient. I hope the writers pull a swerve and prove the Sureshes wrong.
