Yeah, it's my friend's birthday party and her boyfriend's band is opening for Michael Graves on the 19th, I haven't heard much of what he did outside of The Misfits. I don't know if it's relatively the same or completely different or what, but if anyone could throw out some to check out that would be cool.

I personally hate Michael Graves. I think his voice sucks and he was in The Misfits during one of their lowest points.

Then again I'm a huge Danzig fan so I might be biased.

But I did see his band Graves once...they sucked.

"Punk Rock Is Dead" is a neat little album. Check out his shit from Gotham Road.

I personally liked the Misfits w/ Graves alot more than I did with Danzig or Only.

Graves is amazing at what he does, in my opinion. His relevancy is less than Danzig when it comes to the Fits, but I do think that his work with them was a lot better than Glenn's.

You'll probably get to see a set that includes Misfits stuff, a few of his own older songs, a bunch of stuff from Punk Rock is Dead (which is a great CD, btw) and a few songs from his upcoming album, which drops on Halloween.

Graves is hit or miss live... I've seen great and horrible performances and reviews, but when he's hit, he'll rock your fucking socks off.

Graves' solo CDs and the Gotham Road EP is fucking awesome...I've heard bad things about his live show, though.

I agree, too. Graves was my favorite Misfits singer. I saw him live once in 2002. Very good. I was supposed to see him last December but I went to jail and missed the show. If you're a fan you'll be pumped just for the experience.
