Guest The Bleeding Heart Show of Ringy

From ze iPod:

Opening Credits: "Frontwards" by Pavement (A song about daily life with a hint of unreturned love, this is clearly me <_<. Well most of the time.)

Waking Up: "Black Tongue" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (Yeah I have no idea what this song means >_>)

First Day At School: "Beautiful Rainbow" by the Elected (Clearly I have fallen in love with someeone on the first day of school)

Falling In Love: "Basement DC" by the French Kicks (Makes no sense)

Fight Song: "Trance Manual" by John Vanderslice (A song about an American that fucks an Iraqi prostitute? Okay. Whatever >_> )

Breaking Up: "Child Start" by the Unicorns (A child is arguing with a star in the song. Clearly this is incest)

Prom: "Moutains" by Sparklehouse (A song about a bear in the moutains. That is so prom >_>)

Life's OK: "Handshake Drugs" by Wilco (A song about taking medications? Clearly I was depressed :shifty:)

Mental Breakdown: "Between the Bars" by Elliot Smith (Hang out at bars and drink to drown my sorrows? Yay, this one fits!)

Driving: "Fighting in a Sack" by the Shins (yeah, I dunno what this is about, it was here because I wanted to see which Shins album because Beatnik kept saying Chutes Too Narrow and my friend kept saying the first one and I had to figure it out. The friend wins so far >_>)

Flashback: "Song to the Siren" by This Mortal Coil (so I am flashing back to this siren chick I loved? Cool)

Wedding: "Ceremony" by New Order (Awesome song about love forcing us to to join up together? Works perfectly)

Getting Back Together: "Valhalla" by k-os (no fucking clue)

Paradise lost : "Purple Haze" by the Cure (okay)

Birth of Child: "Year of the Ox" by Sufjan Stevens (Yeaaaah, there are no lyrics >_>)

Final Battle: "Alan is A Cowboy Killer" by McLusky (Yay, I kill cowboys!)

Death Scene: "I'm Sick of You" by the Stooges (Clearly a suicide. Clearly)

Funeral Scene: "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen (haha, I demand they play this at my funeral)

End Credits: "Testament to Youth In Verse" by the New Pornographers (Awesome song. But not as awesome as THE BLEEDING HEART SHOW, fuck you iPod >_>).

THis was fun. I shall do it again :shifty:

Opening Credits: "Come As You Are" by Nirvana (Not a good choice to open anything.)

Waking Up: "Undying" by Demon Hunter (It's loud, so I guess it is good to wake up to, but not really that good of a choice.)

First Day At School: "24" by Jem (Not a good choice for this one at all.)

Falling In Love: "Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced" by Dropkick Murphys (Worst falling in in love song ever.)

Fight Song: "Victim" by Eighteen Visions (Would be best for the Breaking Up song at it seems like the guy is not wanting to forgive his girlfriend at all)

Breaking Up: "You've Changed" by Flaw (This one works out well.)

Prom: "Nymphetamine (Fix)" by Cradle of Filth (Worst prom song ever.)

Life's OK: "Down Rodeo" by Rage Against The Machine

Mental Breakdown: "Giving In" by Adema (I think this one works out as well.)

Driving: "Battery" by Dream Theater (Not that good of a driving song.)

Flashback: "Calm Like A Bomb" by Rage Against The Machine (Nothing really about flashbacks at all.)

Wedding: "Control" by Puddle of Mudd (Well, this doesn't work well. Would have been good for breaking up.)

Getting Back Together: "Sober" by Tool (Doesn't work at all.)

Paradise lost: "New Disease" by Spineshank (Another song that doesn't work.)

Birth of Child: "Fade To Black" by Metallica (Clearly the worst song ever for this.)

Final Battle: "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd (Another song that doesn't work.)

Death Scene: "My Own Prison" by Creed (Doesn't work.)

Funeral Scene: "Throw It Away" by Toby Rand (Doesn't work.)

End Credits: "Devil" by Stereophonics (I guess this could end something.)

So really the only ones that seemed to work out by me was "Giving In" by Adema and "You've Changed" by Flaw.

Opening Credits: The Cure "Round & Round & Round" (not bad, starts off as a teenie romcom it seems.)

Waking Up: Men Without Hats "Safety Dance" (haha. why not?)

First Day At School: Rise Against "Blood To Bleed" (ok? angsty first day)

Falling In Love: Yellowcard "Something Of Value" (kinda fits...)

Fight Song: The Doors "Alabama Song" (Heh, this is gonna be a weird scene)

Breaking Up: Usher "That's what it's made for" (sounds more like rebound sex or freaky deaky breakup sex)

Prom:Rage Against The Machine "Bulls On Parade" (??? Sounds fun)

Life's OK: Stroke 9 "Tear Me In Two" (i guess it isn't so ok...)

Mental Breakdown: Rick James "Ebony Eyes" (women trouble again >_>)

Driving: Blink 182 "First Date" (romcom scene 2)

Flashback: Thursday "How Long Is The Night?" (interesting)

Wedding: Rahzel "The Undisputed" (dodgy wedding reception)

Getting Back Together: Bright Eyes "Supriya" (now this is just an odd relationship)

Paradise lost: Weird Al "A Complicated Song" (ok...)

Birth of Child: We Are Scientists "Spotomatic Freeze" (my child will either destroy the world or save it as a member of WAR)

Final Battle: REM "Undertow" (RomCom Fight)

Death Scene: Coheed And Cambria "Second Stage Turbine Blade" (you not telling me something SSTB?)

Funeral Scene: Michael Jackson "Thriller" (bwahahahahahaha. im coming to get you SSTB)

End Credits: Fugazi "Styrofoam" (works for me.)

Opening Credits: Talking Heads- "And She Was"

Ooh...apparently the movie based on my life will be an '80s romantic comedy (possibly involving everyone doing heaps of blow...). Not unlike my life IRL.

Waking Up: Evanescence- "My Immortal"

Okay...how the hell do you wake up to something like this?

First Day At School: The White Stripes- "Walking With A Ghost" (live)

Well, considering that my school's supposedly one of the most haunted schools in New England, I suppose that this works.

Falling In Love: Blue Oyster Cult- "Don't Fear the Reaper"

Okay...this works. Who can't fall in love to the awe-inspiring power of the COWBELL?

Fight Song: Death Cab for Cutie- "Little Fury Bugs"

Okay. Either this fight is a more female form of psychological fighting or my fight song is weird...

Breaking Up: Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi ST- "Heart wo Neratte (Off Vocal)"

The gods of melodrama hate me.

Prom: Busted- "Sleeping With The Light On"

Aww...the first time I get a song that could actually work...and its Busted. Someone tell me to fire the person in charge of my movie's soundtrack...

Life's OK: Green Day- "Redundant"

If anyone saw the documentary "My Date with Drew", a major portion was the claim that in certain areas, people can be within a few degrees from some people to help that. Having seen that...someone, anyone- get Zach Braff on the line so that I can have some goddamn music that fits the scenes!

Mental Breakdown: Michael Penn- "No Myth"

Uh...yeah. Okay. I know I fight Darth Vader on the planet Neptune with Warrior, but can I get some better choices here?

Driving: Bob Dylan- "Not Dark Yet"

Nothing wrong with Bob Dylan on a soundtrack...right? Right?

Flashback: Black Eyed Peas- "Pump It"

What the hell is this flashback supposed to be about, anyway?

Wedding: American Top 40 track: Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford "Close My Eyes Forever" AND Winger "Headed for a Heartbreak" AND Paula Abdul "Cold Hearted" And an AT40 hotline ad AND an Army ad AND a Snickers ad

Well, at least this means my wedding scene can get a cool cameo by Shadoe Stevens as my wedding DJ...How these things will work for a wedding, though...

Getting Back Together: Neil Diamond- "Sweet Caroline" (live)

Unless this leads to a heartwarming reconnection scene at a Red Sox game, this doesn't sit well for me.

Paradise lost: Elvis Presley- "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear"

W...T...F...

Birth of Child: DANGERDOOM- "El Chupa Nibre (remix)"

Okay. I can't be surprised by anything anymore.

Final Battle: Glasshouse- "Russian Roulette"

Well, at least I know how the battle will go. Even if it leads to power-pop as a final battle song...

Death Scene: Yuzo Hayashi & Salon68- "Form of Passion, Shape of Love"

Ah. This could work. Nice, instrumental, soft, from the soundtrack to an awesome anime (I assume the other anime marks know already, but Honey & Clover> j00...)

Funeral Scene: Corinne Bailey Rae- "I'd Like To"

Okay...I give up...

End Credits: Spitz- oomiya sanseto (sunset)

Well, this at least fits well enough...

Fight Song: Stricken- Disturbed (metal, works for me)

Breaking Up: Dust In The Wind- Kansas (once more, iTunes is on a roll here)

Prom: Sweet Caroline- Me First And The Gimme Gimmes (a prom without the Gimmes isn't a prom worth having)

Life's OK: Ex's And Oh's- Atreyu (ok so maybe its not on a roll)

Mental Breakdown: Nothing Left To Say But Goodbye- Audioslave (meh, could work)

Driving: Cowboys From Hell- Pantera (ok I kind of laughed at this)

Flashback: Radios In Heaven- Plain White T's (not at all)

Wedding: Wonderwall- Oasis (my iTunes is actually doing something right on shuffle for once)

Getting Back Together: Soldier Side- SOAD (wow, great getting back together <_< )

Paradise lost : A Lack Of Color- Death Cab For Cutie (once more, could work)

Birth of Child: Pardon Me- Incubus (my child is going to burst into flames!?)

Final Battle: Ain't Love Grand- Atreyu (no, doesn't work)

Death Scene: Fade To Black- Metallica (back on a roll?)

Funeral Scene: Run- Snow Patrol (yes, I am back on a roll)

End Credits: Snow (Hey Oh)- Red Hot Chili Peppers

Opening Credits: That Smell by Lynyrd Skynyrd (meh, not bad really, it would been a better fit for the ending credits or something in the middle, IMO)

Waking Up: Space Oddity by David Bowie (I think this works pretty good here)

First Day At School: More Human Than Human by White Zombie (Ok, this doesn't fit at all for first day of school... the moaning in the background would have made it fun for prom night or something)

Falling In Love: Violent Pornography by System of a Down (now this would be an lovely song to fall in love to... gotta wonder what kinda relationship this ends up being)

Fight Song: Getting it Off My Chest by Death by Stereo (now this fits pretty damn good, nice little fight scene background music. I can see it)

Breaking Up: Know Your Enemy by Rage Against the Machine (the title fits for a bad, hateful break up... we fell in love to Violent Pornography, what do you expect?)

Prom: When Darkness Falls by Killswitch Engage (uh... ok, doesn't fit at all, but it would make for an interesting prom I guess. Er. Right)

Life's OK: Goodbye to You by Michelle Branch (meh, going by instrumentals, yeah this would work. Lyrically, much more of a breaking up tune)

Mental Breakdown: Madhouse by Anthrax (I. AM. SHITTING. YOU. NOT! It's going to be extremely hard to find a song that fits better than this. Simply perfection)

Driving: El Reggaeton Latino by Don Omar (yeah, the only way this would fit is if I was cruising around South Beach in a lowered 64 El Camino)

Flashback: Die for your Government by Anti-Flag (I dunno, what kind of flashback I'm I having exactly? Oh right, this is when I died for my country, which is shit, apparently)

Wedding: Fuck Tha Police by NWA (That's one ghetto-ass wedding)

Getting Back Together: the training montage from Rocky IV (I have no comment, I just laughed my ass off that this came up. I forgot I even had it on my computer.)

Paradise lost : ATWA by System of a Down (This could work, very well actually)

Birth of Child: Porno, Sex, Drugs, Lies, Money and Your Local Government by Death by Stereo (yes, this is what you want your child to be born to. Don't lie)

Final Battle: Bombs Over Bagdad by Outkast (all I can think about is some fucked up, acided-out, fight scene taking place inside this video. With all sort of random, cartoonish shit things going on)

Death Scene: Blind by Korn (something tells me I went out in some kind of premeditated, pyschotic rage)

Funeral Scene: Bridge to Cross by Black Label Society (this works damn good)

End Credits: Tiny Dancer by Elton John (I could see it for an actual movie, maybe not this one, but it worked at the end of the Dundies episode of the Office)

Paradise lost : Here We Are- Breaking Benjamin (i haven't listened to this song much but it seems to fit)

Birth of Child: Another Round- Foo Fighters (good)

Final Battle: Bad Day- Fuel (Wierd)

Death Scene: The Earth's Rotation Around The Sun- Wolfmother (Wierd)

Funeral Scene: Schism- Tool (I can see this work)

End Credits: Down Rodeo- Rage Against The Machine (Alright)

Overall I would say pretty good accept for a couple near the end.

Opening Credits: Dirty Pretty Things - Enemy (I love the song, not sure how good it'd be for opening credits, but it's pretty upbeat for a DPT thing, and the lyrics are set out as if it's some guy talking about his life, so hell, maybe it would work after all)

Waking Up: Led Zeppelin - D'yer Mak'er (Obviously the dude's waking up to a mellow start, seems like the type of song that would have some kind of narration over it, could work well I guess)

First Day At School: Tommy Roe - I'm So Dizzy (This would be so awesome for the next question; maybe it's about some kid going to school and being amazed by the vastness of it all? Yeah, that works well)

Falling In Love: The Who - Pinball Wizard (alright, so my kid's a gay, and he likes sympathy cases)

Fight Song: Barry White - Never, Never Gonna Give You Up (clearly our friend is a little too possessive; assuming that's a little relationship spat anyway; if we mean a full on fight between people, I'm not sure I could've picked a worse song)

Breaking Up: New York Dolls - Looking For A Kiss (So our kid's a player, and his deaf, dumb and blind pinball wizard partner obviously isn't giving him enough lovin; justifiable, I believe)

Prom: Prong Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - Suite Judy Blue Eyes (Our hero obviously isn't enjoying his prom; he's become boring and dull, and it isn't fair for his date, though she/he isn't perfect too by the sounds of it)

Life's OK: Bloodhound Gang - The Roof Is On Fire (Yeah... More of a depression song actually, doesn't fit much)

Mental Breakdown: The Strokes - Is This It (Some nice electronic effects at the very beginning to fit with it all, and the lyrics seem to be about a guy who can't think clearly, and wants to think there is more to life; not a bad fit)

Driving: Johnny Cash - Hurt (Alright... Our hero is a crybaby who likes to weep when driving, or maybe he just crashes and gets cut up like a bitch)

Flashback: Jimi Hendrix - Hey Joe (I'm liking this one; our hero's obviously seen somebody shoot his wife, or he was involved in an obsessive relationship; yes, another one, and he shot her himself; by this time he must be getting on a bit)

Wedding: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama (Nice and upbeat, good wedding music)

Getting Back Together: Bob Dylan - Knocking On Heaven's Door (He loves a girl who's like heaven to him; all together now; awwwww)

Paradise lost : The Kooks - You Don't Love Me (Awesome fit for this)

Birth of Child: Neil Young - Southern Man (Obviously born speaking like a hick)

Final Battle: Al Green - Can't Take My Eyes Off You [i think that's the title, this could be wrong] (WHAT THE FUCK?)

Death Scene: Pink Floyd - Have A Cigar (Swank; our hero obviously died pulling some classy shit)

Funeral Scene: Supertramp - The Logical Song (YES! Awesome song, though maybe it'd be better suited for the end credits)

End Credits: Pink Floyd - Us and Them (Could be good, depending on what's actually happened to our hero during his life; maybe a bit too slow for credits though)
