Paul Pierce, Al Jefferson, and #5 pick? Roy, Aldridge, and #1. Ray Allen and #2 is interesting. Philly's got draft picks with Iguodala or Carney involved. All better deals than what Chicago offers in my opinion. But again, if you're LA, would you really want to trade Kobe Bryant? Let him be unhappy, he plays better mad anyway.

Damshow...he'll play. He's not about to sit out a contract, he'll play and keep his value up, he just won't be happy.

And I dunno if I over-valued him or not. In cases like Portland giving up Roy, Aldridge, and the #1, yea. But I'm making a point that they don't have the right stuff to offer. Offering either Roy OR Aldridge alone isn't gonna do it, so are they going to over-pay or just not make a deal? I'd agree with you though, the most likely of the ones I laid out is Boston, but Kobe'd be in the same situation he is now, the supporting cast just isn't there.

An interesting deal you laid out for Chicago, possibly the best I've seen yet today, though I think they might fight for Deng in any deal that gets done with Chicago.

The Bulls would need to give up both two of either Gordon, Deng, or Tyrus Thomas. If it's Tyrus Thomas, they'd probably have to give even more. Still, the Bulls would have enough pieces (namely a PG in Hinrich and a Center in Ben Wallace) that Kobe would still be happy.

Why? If the Lakers refuse to do anything, Kobe is going to want out. If he decides that he wants to go to Chicago and will veto any other trade, do you really think the Lakers would let Kobe sit? The Bulls can offer as much as any other team and it's a place Kobe wants to go.

No, I mean........your post responds to nothing I said.

But in response to YOUR post, like everyone's already said, Kobe would never sit out. He's got too much competitive drive for that.

Kobe wants to be a Laker, he's just frustrated and rightfully so. They said they wanted to win a championship soon and not in the next 5 years, yet they were unwilling to trade a guy not totally NBA ready for a guy like Jason Kidd. He'll end up a Laker for life because they're going to do what they can to keep him, because you don't let a guy like Kobe go.

If Cleveland hit all their free throws they'd have this game done. If they lose I'm going to be pissed.

And yeah, Donovan will be a great additition for Orlando. With the cap room they get from Grant Hills contract this offseason and a winning coach things are looking bright.

EDIT: Fuck you Chauncey.
