Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Just completed the game, loved the ending cut-scene and optional objective futures, but the end credits are hilarious. They have out-takes with the Marvel characters. If you haven't heard it yet, watch the credits, it is brilliant.

According to Wiki Spider-Man, Venom, Carnage, Hulk and Magneto have been confirmed as playable characters. But theres no source so take it with a grain of salt.

All of them you just named are downloadable characters if you have xbox live, I think..

I just finally got my hands on the 360 copy last night. I'm going to buy it, just have the question of whether it would be better off to get the Gold edition, or to get the regular and buy the extra characters off live. Does Gold give you anything other than just what you get from the download?

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance: Gold Edition was released for the Xbox 360 on May 22, 2007. It has all eight downloadable heroes and villains that were originally available only on the Xbox 360 through download on Xbox Live. It also includes 12 new Xbox LIVE achievements and exclusive character costumes.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance: Special Edition (Platinum Hits) was released for the Xbox 360 on September 25, 2007. The feature set includes all of the Gold Edition extras and a bonus DVD.

From Wiki.

Gold Edition and from Live both give you the characters and extra achievements. And unlike the other characters, costumes are unlocked simply by killing enemies. For the regular ones, you get 2 costumes for killing enemies, and the third one you get from doing their simulation disc.

It's a dungeon crawler, you have a shit load of attacks based on whatever characters powers and you map them to buttons during combat, you can switch between any of the four superheros in your team any time, stuff like that. I can't think of a game to compare it to, but it's good >_>
