Shows that ended too soon

How many seasons did SportsNight get? I remember the first time I watched it on abc1 and it was all kinds of awesome.

Firefly. Though I do like the fact that with just one season, so much of it is classic. Its like the Fawlty Towers effect - only 12 episodes ever, but the majority of them are so fucking good its a classic, and there's the argument that its better to have a short but perfect run than a longer run with a larger number of weaker shows.

When it was cancelled after season one, Arrested Development ended WAY too soon, after it was cancelled after Season two, it might have ended too soon. Season three, whilst fine, was a bit of a let-down compared to the sheer pefection of season one, and the very goodness of season two, and so I'll say as it stands now, Arrested Development ended about the right time.

Thats not to say I wouldn't welcome more to really wrap things up >_>

Futurama, I love it more than The Simpsons.

Clerks: Animated Series just have at least lasted 13 episodes to give it a proper season. Sure it was offbeat and strange compared to the movie, but hilarious.

Why, when these threads pop up, Farscape never gets mentioned? It deserved a proper season to finalize the storylines, not a shitty two-part TV-movie which was such a rushjob that the constipation it gave me was more enjoyable than the movie itself.

I've said it a ton of times already that Arrested Development was ended too early, so I won't say that Arrested Development ended too early in this thread. To say that Arrested Development ended too early again in this thread would be saying that Arrested Development ended too early too many times. You can only say that Arrested Development ended too early so many times before saying that Arrested Development ended too early becomes annoying and pointless. It could get to the point where saying that Arrested Development ended too early could result in people getting angry at me over saying that Arrested Development ended too early.

Teachers...4 Series, and Series 4 wasn't 'proper' Teachers, but watching Series 4 back (Now the original anger of them killing off Brian and Kurt has gone) I realise there's so much they could have done with the Ewan, Damien and Ben combination (The Homosexual Awareness episode is one of the Teachers greats, right up there with the 'Disabled Kurt' and 'Brian's Gay' episodes).

But at least it went out on a high note, with it still being incredibly funny, unlike lots of (mostly) American comedies that seem to run for season upon season and get worse and worse over time.

I just miss Teachers.
