I was at the store and this caught my eye. I stared at it blankly for 5 minutes trying to figure out if this was actually the Bomberman from the past. I hid it behind some other shitty Xbox 360 game I forget.

I know they're all the same gameplaywise, but I hate the whole thing where marketers think "it has to be dark to sell", it's Bomberman, most of it's amusing charm comes from the stupid cutesy graphics.

Since when do "marketers" design the game?

Since designers have had to work to their company's budget constraints which is generally decided by the money-men who see from 'marketers' that dark and Halo-y type games sell and thus force these ideas upon the design team?

I had an Amiga version called Dynablaster which was pretty much the same anyways and I played it for hours, as did my mum, brother, friends....Pretty much everyone actually. Great game.
