8. No postwhoring. If you're going to reply or post, make sure there is a point to your post and that there is some actual content. "Good job" or "lol, I agree" are postwhore-ish messages, and will likely result in a warning.

Important note: The Mafia Championship Series is unofficial, because Zan's the king of the GC and as far as I'm concerned, my MCS is to crown an unofficial champion unless Zan says otherwise and declares it an official championship.

That said, it's about ready to go. All seven rounds have been prepared, and I'll need 20 signups plus a handful of eager substitutes. Scoring tables are set up, and I will not be posting them on the boards. The goal is to find the best Mafia player on the board and that can't be done if everybody's eyeing the scoreboard trying to determine who to lynch/protect/night kill based on who's ahead of/behind them on the big board.

Suggestions for how I could space out seven Mafias to keep them close enough together to build competitive spirit, while far enough apart to prevent burnout would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you could alwyas splice in some other people's Mafia's, without saying which you picked. That way people could be earning or not earning points without knowing, and you can get even less "lol, i wil lynch him cuz hez got 2 pts lol"
