A Cinderella Story - *

Holy Camp Classic Batman! This 21st century update of the classic Cinderella story is easily the most cliched and campy version yet. With all of the energized cheese of Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, this film is going to be a favorite of both teenaged idiots and smug movie critics (like myself) for years. Hilary Duff (in what I believe is only the second film I've seen her in) is clearly inept at conveying anything beyond the one dimensional teenage twit she portrays on "Lizzie McGuire". Hey, I guess art imitates life. Jennifer Coolidge has got to be one of the least talented actresses in Hollywood though, so I guess Duff's not the worst in this tripe. Who knows, maybe she'll go the way of Lindsay Lohan and get good with age. As is, a pitiful movie, but plenty of fun for camp fans. Thumbs down.

I thought this was much better than the first one, as it got more into the game and Sienna Guillory is so hot. I also liked the 'ending' much better than I did in the first one, the third movie is going to kick so much ass.

The Punisher: 6/10: I would have given it a 7 or 8, but any movie that uses the cliched Anti-Hero lights a fire that forms his symbol on the ground shot loses a point at the very least. Oh and to all the Nash haters out there his fight scene was the best in the movie.

The Fan - 5.5/10 or (**) A meh thriller, even with De Niro. The extra ESPN Classic commentary about it made it interesting.

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days - 5.5/10 or (**) Very conventional love story with just a few minor changes. Not that good, but it's better than Alex and Emma. If you've got a girlfriend (or you're JHS), she'll (or JHS) probably like it.

[Asuka's Gonna Kill You]

Snatch - 9/10

Just a pure awesome film. Brad Pitt is brilliant in it, as is the entire cast of this movie. Vinnie Jones once again impresses me with his hilarious hard man acting, great stuff from him on this. The entire storyline is great and this is certainly one of the best films I've seen.

Baby Geniuses - 2.5/10 or (*) Just as bad as I thought and more.

Major League - 7.5/10 or (***) Any quote coming out of Wesley Snipes' mouth in this movie is classic. I'm kinda meh about the love story bits but the rest of the movie is great.

In The Cut - 4/10 or (*1/2) A softcore porn with legit actors is a bad idea mostly because softcore porno scripts suck. Thus, this film sucks.

Like most of the other EWBer's I enjoyed the movie quite alot. Some really funny scenes and also some signs towards the end of coming out of it's comedy shell. Nonetheless, It remained funny through out and gains my recommendation...
