The Jacket: 6/10: Way intriguing concept but I had to score it lower because to be honest I'm not quite sure I understood a good bit of it. And if anyone can explain the ending to me please shoot a PM my way (Y)

War of the Worlds: 8/10: I thought it was surprisingly realistic, it was pretty good. My biggest gripe was that Dakota Fanning, who's a great child actress, has her dialouge reduced to piercing screams and loud sobs.

Overall a very good movie, but Batman still takes the cake with me

The Girl Next Door: I had never seen this before today, and although somewhat predictable, still a good watch. Not to mention the hotness that is Elisha Cuthbert.

God to love Broken Lizard. This is a great throwback to the old school Horror flims like Halloween and Friday the 13th.

Toy Story 2 - 9/10

Now this is just a good paint-by-numbers sequel, made even better by managing to emcompass even more intelligence, better writing, wry humor, true heart and finer performances than the orignal. It satirizes every layer of the toy landscape without escaping the moral and story, and manages to gain every emotion possible from the audience. And that takes a lot to do that, especially for a kid's movie. Then again, this isn't really a kid's movie no more than it is an all ages movie. Any person of any type of background, taste, or social class will find enjoyment in this feature. Definite recommend from me.
