What do you think of the 2012 Olympics logo?

The BBC's got a selection of alternative logos readers have sent in, the first batch being here and the second lot here. Yes, some of them are made in MS Paint. :shifty:

I kind of like this one, even if it is somewhat bland (take out the tag line though, obviously).

That's awesome.

I also like this one:

The rest are worse than the actual logo ¬_¬

Apparently one of the b3ta forummers sent in a pisstake Goatse themed logo;

Thing is, it was actually discounted as some kids attempt and shown on the BBC along with the others. :lol:

Wow, that looks like shit. Maybe they kept the money, then forgot to do it, and 30 minutes before they had to unvail it they panicked, fired up Paint and came up with that. Now it would explain everything.

Creators of footage promoting the 2012 Olympics should not be paid after it emerged it could trigger an epileptic seizure, London's mayor has said.

Ken Livingstone's comments came after a segment of the animated footage had to be removed from the organisers' website on the advice of experts.

He said the designer should not be paid a penny for the "catastrophic mistake".

Charity Epilepsy Action said it had received 18 calls from people who had suffered fits after watching the clip.

Though he probably has no authority over such matters, of course. >_>
