Fair points. My reasons for not liking Crouch are I think he is poor in the air, is easily pushed off the ball, as an average touch, an average vision, no pace and an OK finish.

My opinion of Crouch is not so much him but the face if he is Englands 3rd forward after Rooney and Owen then we are screwed.

Rooney's injury prompted me to use my wildcard in the second week of the season, so i could redistribute the wealth. Still only have 11 players (+ a sub keeper) who are going to play this week.

Just joined this, dunno why I took so long about it, since I made a team in July for a league with my mates anyway. Slotted in nicely at 10th as AFC Village People with 8 more players to earn me points tonight.

That's what I did last season and it turned things around quite well for me. Hopefully it does again this year as I, too, have played my wildcard. Osman scoring last night was the only bright spot from the Spurs game for me <_>

I had Drogba subbed for the first day, as he was injured, so gave the captaincy to Essien. Luckily, he scored on the first day, so it hasn't affected me too much, but might shift it back to Drogba.

I always choose the right player then have a change of heart and select someone else. I had Drogba but then spent the money elsewhere and chose Pizzaro instead since he scored on opening day <_>
