Arcade Games

The description for this forum made me think of Arcade games, and then made me think of how Time Crisis is so sweet. I was just wondering, how long have you guys gotten in one session. I remember at Ceder Point, going all the way to Area 3, just me with the computer as a partner, who is like, no help at all. I used only like $4 too, and I was so proud of myself. I never beat it though, because I don't want to waste money, or run out of money.

What are you favorite games to play at Arcades, and how far have you gotten?

I've beaten Time Crisis 2 as well. I've also beaten the Royal Rumble portion of WWF Wrestlefest more than once, and Soul Calibur 2. Pretty sure I used Nightmare to beat Soul Calibur 2 with, in maybe 15 minutes.

It's far more fun to play on an arcade machine than at home, though there's less potential embarrassment in the latter.

I think I beat Virtua Striker 2 once in like, Cyprus or Majorca or somewhere.

My strongest arcade memory would be me and my brother getting really far in Simpsons Arcade but our parents stopped bank rolling us, thus we never completed it.

Time Crisis still is the best arcade game ever made. I like the thread starter's style.

I always dug Wrestlefest quite a bit, Terminator 2: The Arcade Game with the Uzi's rocked, hell any game where you hold a gun is usually awesome.

Even though I never liked racing games, I did like Cruising World, that was fun.

There's probably a ton more, but I haven't been in an arcade in years. I know of one right by my house, but haven't actually gone in it in some years.

Ska, you're from the same area, are there any decent arcades around anymore? I know of Dave and Busters, and then CJ Barrymore by my house, otherwise anything like a classic arcade around?

Chase HQ is my favourite arcade game of all time, which is pretty handy considering I have one in my living room (Y)

I always piss people off while playing some racing game (can't think for the life of me what it is, it's made by Sega...), because I know I can't win, so I drive the wrong way, and aim for people. Both cars go flying, and they lose their lead...
