If it's true that Dennis Wise actually runs most of the club's business decisions then surely now wouldn't be the worst time ever to bring Shearer in. If all Keegan ever was to Newcastle was a motivational coach then Shearer could do that job whilst building managerial experience.

Then again I don't want to look like an even bigger idiot >_<

If they have so much money. Why don't they just buy everyone in the Premiership. And since you can't have like.. two clubs at once just have the owners create a random new company, put someone randomly in charge and do it all that way. They could probably have a way around it and then just buy the 20 Premiership teams and take all the money eventually <_<

... My plan may have some flaws.

According to some rumours that Man City group tried to take over Arsenal, Spurs and us before them

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest just based on the size of the club they would have inherited. Man City aren't even on a level with Chelsea when Abramovich took them over, but after a few trophies I'm sure that will change. Look at Chelsea now, I see more people here in the States in Chelsea tops than any other club except perhaps Barcelona.

Is it just me or does Keegan seem to throw his toys out of the pram every time something goes wrong? I think he only did alright with Newcastle was because he had half the injury worries that his predecessors had. There is a rumour going about that he wasn't happy that Ashley promised him Allan McGregor.

He did alright with Newcastle because he put them on the pitch to win rather than get jammy draws with Derby. The only Newcastle managers in recent years to have a legit gripe about injuries are Souness and Roeder, Fat Sam spent enough to cover a missing Michael Owen. Nothing has expressly 'gone wrong', he was just stuck in the position of being a coach rather than a manager, picking a team made of players signed by those above him and expected to take the flak when they didn't perform. I'm looking forward to seeing who'd want to step into that gap.

Setanta are reporting that we're to be getting Fatih Terim as the new manager.

If that's true then that's some coup, he's done alright in Turkish leagues, managed Inter and a proven international manager. Plus he's completely batshit crazy, always a great thing in a Newcastle manager <_<
