Doherty is dead on, actually. And despite taking the piss, Kate Nash is the right idea too. I should have specified - I'd prefer male singers, tho. Male Kate Nash's would be perfect. :shifty:

Oh...so fuck me...oh yeah...I don't get a thanks...Male Kate Nash eh...aint that fucking Jamie T? :shifty:

The Streets, Maximo Park, The Wombats+ all them bands who pretend to be the Arctic Monkeys.

I never get a thanks for easing your drug worries on MSN :@

But yes, most indie bands will be included.

EDIT: And is it just me or does the guy from Maximo Park sound Welsh?

Yes...it's just you. He's from Billingham...like my dad (random fact!!).

And thank you, Nerf.

Basically every English band (not Lost Prophets) sound English. :shifty:

Ross something - The Futureheads - if you're looking for Sunderland.

Barry Hyde is the Futurehead's vocalist. Ross just does backing.

Pretty much all your indie bands as said, but I'd rather just the sort of;

Smiths, Cure, Coral, Libertines/Babyshambles, Arctic Monkeys, Streets sort of thing.

Without getting into every single indie band ever.

But go with The Cribs too. Ryan Jarman is from Wakefield, that's pretty English. >_<
