I like that trade. Heat doesn't need capspace until 2010, by which time O'Neal's contract will have expired. Also, it's a big body. Preferable to the other trade that had been discussed of Marion & Beasley for Amare Stoudemire & someone else. You could still end up with Stoudemire in 2010 without giving up Beasley.

I think the hidden key in all of this is that Miami gets Jamario Moon, who could be a very solid 6th man off the bench behind Beasley.

Apparently Moon is going to start in the short term. Miami's coach wants to keep developing Beasley as a 4 who gets spot minutes at the 3. Apparently if Beasley buffs up he can start to play some at center.

That's not good. He's barely 6'8" and he's not a defensive monster like Ben Wallace was either.

He's a scoring 4 or a slightly bigger 3, but he's definitely not a Center.

Oh and yeah, the West all-star team could probably just be the Lakers team and nobody else.

Dwight Howard is a physical freak. That's insane. I'm a tall kid. I've been dunking for awhile now and its gotten to the point where its routine but to dunk that easily at 12 feet is out of this world.

Howard should've done that last one first and ended with 12 feet. He kinda screwed himself by ending with the shittiest dunk of the three.

Rudy was robbed. That 2nd dunk, deserved, by far, a 50.

And Howard was all around better than Nate

I understand that Nate is short and can get up really high but the appeal really ended for me awhile ago. The whole gimmick was based on the kryptonite thing and I just wasn't feeling it.

Also the white announcer was incredibly out of place.

Andre 'dala(I am not sure of spelling so I am attempting to be hip) was robbed in 06 by Robinson, whom I thought was shit last year. This year = over Howard dunk, that's it. I thought Fernandez should've been in the final round anyways.

So I'm the only one who thought Nate was the best? That Rudy missed a ton of times and Howard did not deserve a perfect score on his first dunk.

Well Nate should be the reason Rudy missing alot doesn't matter. Nate got like 30+ attempts on a very average dunk to win the contest in 06
