I like naiwf's apparent logic that since Tony Romo plays for the Cowboys there is no way he could possibily be a good samaritan, and the very idea reeks of bullshit to him.

Romo is someone who gets a ton of publicity and I've never heard him doing anything in public outside of dating Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson. Warrick Dunn is someone who is much less famous than Romo, but the fact that he has helped a lot of people with housing is something that is well known throughout the NFL. To swing the conversation back to QBs, I know that Brees, Peyton and Warner have also recently won the Walter Payton Award for their contributions to charities and what have you. Romo is not the type of guy I associate with being a humanitarian because I've never heard any stories about him in that regard.
