Lost Season 6 (spoilers)

I thought for sure I saw Daniel and Charlotte but I guess not. Either way, Libby and Penny were still not season one characters, so that is still not correct.

Eh, not quite. There is the possibility that Libby and Penny were always planned in some way/how (ie, if the writers already knew the ending, they'd know that Desmond & Hurley would be there and maybe they decided to write in partners of some kind for them).

That still doesn't make them season one characters though... Libby, Penny, or Juliet never appear in a single season one episode at all, so they aren't quite season one characters now are they?

The writer could have meant characters written at the time of series 1. Either way, I can't see how it's a major point in whole thing. The ending - and who are there at the end - makes sense.

I wonder if he realises that a good few of those questions were answered or that he just didn't seem to understand some of the things. hmm.gif

I agree some of those were answered/could be logically figured out, but for me certain parts that have been left unanswered - I would rather have known something more tangible rather than filling in the blanks for myself. For example, regarding Walt and how there was a lot of emphasis placed upon him earlier on...then nothing at all <_< I.e. what the hell is up with that kid! Also, how the psychic who Claire saw told her that her child should only be raised by her, not another - at the time, this made me think there would be so much importance hinged upon her child and the fact that Claire did not raise Aaron after all...but again, this plot also seems to have been 'Lost' - sorry, I could not resist the pun! You could go on for ages coming up with things that weren't covered and the CollegeHumor vid seems to just ask questions for the sake of picking holes in the plot and querying absolutely anything (yet this is mainly for comic affect I am sure). For me, the Walt and Claire scenarios are the main 2 I would have liked some clarification on! Obviously there are plenty more that I would have liked to know more of, but I don't think it's right to dwell on the absence of certain things when the actual plot that we are ultimately given is so well crafted. Still though, it would have been nice for at least a brief mention or something within any of the actual series themselves to clear up certain things...

Sorry to nitpick, but with just a little bit of creative thinking you can see that this was addressed. Kate raised Aaron, and not Claire, and things didn't work out so brilliantly for her. I think the importance was always meant to be on Claire rather than Aaron.

Hmm...I can see why you think that, but for me personally it just wasn't clarified enough. The way the psychic talked about it, he said it would bring 'great danger' if Claire's child was raised by another. The amount of emphasis he placed on this seemed to say that this 'danger' was not only for Claire/the child/whoever ends up raising Aaron, but perhaps even wider society...Just how he became SO obsessed with making Claire keep her child, to the point of getting her on Oceanic 815 etc, I just think surely the terribleness that the psychic spoke of couldn't have solely been based on Claire rather than Aaron, as he kept on saying that the danger surrounded the child and how it needed her good influence to protect it - as if otherwise, he could become corrupted by any other parent and hence, become dangerous. I just think that if so much attention is given to certain aspects of a plot, it would be good to have (for me) what would seem an adequate justification of such emphasis.

I'd love to own them all on blu-ray but the potential cost of that scares me just to think of it.

I'm probably going to rent Seasons 2-6 to watch on DVD as I never got around to buying any after the 1st.

You could say that $194.99 Aug 24th 2010 Release /£134.19 Sept 6th 2010 Release

Considering they're like £40 new on BluRay a series at a time, that's really quite a good deal. It just seems like more because you're paying for it all at once as opposed to individually. I have no doubt that I'll pick this up for BluRay if it's only £134.

A good few were answered yes, but the vast majority weren't and

i.e

Why was Sayid so smitten with Shannon when Nadia would clearly be his choice to spend the afterlife with?

How did Walt appear to Shannon?

The food drop?

Why wasn't Sun transported back to the 70s like the rest of the Oceanic 6 who returned?

How was Christian able to appear to Jack off Island?

To name a few.

EDIT: watching it again the first minute or so of it are all fair questions that haven't been answered.
