My mate's asked me to go see Bolt Thrower with him in May because I'm the closest he has to a metalhead friend and he's never been to a gig before (at 24!!!). So, I'll let you know afterwards. I'm honestly a little scared.

And Lil' Wyte fans are exactly the type that would mosh at a hip-hop concert. Hell, a mini pit opened up when I saw GZA on Wednesday night.

I presume it'd be something like a hardcore gig where you just shout a lot...or you go the way people do at bands with 'screaming' tendencies (early FFAF, Alexisonfire etc) and just sing it. :/ Or you just headbang like a twat.

There are a few Death Metal bands I'd be tempted to see. Most of which tend to have clean vocal parts as well.

And pits are awesome.

Yes, this is true. When I saw the Dropkick Murphys a few weeks ago, one huge one opened up right in the middle of the floor. Followed by another small one towards the back.
