In a rare move for me, I'm actually changing the teams formation for the new season. Last season our top scorer was a 33 year old Caleb Folan playing a 4-4-1-1. However, I have signed two new FWs and a new AM and will play 4-3-1-2. I normally never make such a change and I fear it will come back to bite me.

A relatively formulaic promotion for Maritimo B was secured with a pair of emphatic 4-0 wins. While I'm certainly pleased with my first ever promotion, and to be on the club's favoured personnel list, the club simply doesn't have the money to drastically improve the squad, and with the main Maritimo team struggling it's not like I'll get many quality players demoted to my team. At this stage I'd take a job in the higher reaches of League 2 quite happily.

I've signed Salvador Carrera, he's 18 but can't get a work permit. I've had to send him out on loan to Genk. At what age do they get their work permit to play in England?

In Belgium, 3 years.

It tells you on the personal tab how many days he needs to complete to gain nationality. Season long loans count for a full 365 days too when completed.

EURO 2012 update - England were laughed out of their group horribly, managing a 0-0 draw with Hungary but a 4-3 loss to Germany and 3-1 to Italy. Stranger still, Hungary beat Germany 3-2 so it's them and Italy off to the quarters.

And oddly those two met again in the final, with Italy beating Hungary 2-0.

If my players could get their shit together and score more goals we'd be top of the league at the moment. They couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.

So I have hired Denny Landzaat as a coach. He has 20 attacking so I'm assuming that is going to help.

My last journeyman game didn't have anywhere near enough leagues, so I started a new one.

Four months in, and I still haven't found a job to my liking. May just end up taking the next one that pops up.
