I still think the Eagles will trade Asante, locking up a huge incoming draft class is top on Philly's checklist. They're going to contend with or without Samuel so at least trading him helps them compete more down the line. I mock Andy Reid for his late-game coaching, but the man is the best in the league when it comes to personnel decisions.

Bill Belicheck says Hi.

He's a better coach and drafter, Reid fills holes better. If Reid could coach and there was no such thing as Spygate he'd have 2 or 3 rings at this point and Belichick might have 1.

I call BS. Donovan McNabb would not have 2 or 3 rings. He doesn't have the stomach for it :shifty:

Ocho/Fat Albert bringing down the Pats

I seriously doubt this. I think Chad is going to break his back trying to get back to form, and Albert may have a fire lit under his fat ass now that a ring is realistically possible. I won't be the least bit surprised if both have very good years this season.

A fire is one thing, but if Albert doesn't like how he gets used, he's going to act out like a three-year-old who's been denied a dinner of maple-syrup-covered Pop Tarts, no matter if it's Belichick, Lombardi, or Jesus drawing up the scheme. For once, it might make the Patriots entertaining.

Woah, let's not get ahead of ourselves here and pretend only the big, bad Pats were the ones jacking signals. They were just the ones who got caught.

Kind of what I was getting at, Most think that these bad boys will make said team's self destruct and it will be the luck of the AFC teams (and I guess those in the NFC too) that these guys go back to playing like the All-Pro's that they used to be.

Ravens sign Vonta Leach (Hope I spelt that right) for a tidy sum, I was a little bit concerned at Ozzie's lack of bringing players in but this is one heck of a move, It's going to be a fun backfield of Rice, McClain and Leech if they get going.

I still think that we need some DB signings but if all the draftee's turn out right we are set as much as I hate Heap going to the Cards... I think that we will be fine.

Cue Pittsburgh fans saying that we are full of holes and we are going to get curbstomped this year.

That's a pretty severe claim, got any evidence to support it?

Osi Umeniyora has been told he is free to explore a trade. NY is asking for a 1st round pick but I have a feeling that he might be traded for less. A few teams have a big need for him and the cap room so I'm excited to see who ends up with him and if he'll play for a non-contending team.

Jets got Cromartie back. Would have loved to have listened in on the negotiations for that after the whole Nnamdi thing.

Jerricho Cotchery is rather surprisingly on the trade market it seems. Which leaves the Jets with a WR core of Holmes, Burress, Patrick Turner and Scotty McKnight

Yeah just read that, a bit of a shame. No doubt he has declined over the past few seasons but I think he could still perform in the right enviorment this season but I guess Plax took his gig in New York. I guess in a 5 years we could be seeing him in a jacked HOF class alongside Favre. If both manage to stay retired!

Now if only TO would follow suit. <_<

You forgot about Jeremy Kerley from TCU. They say he's a return specialist, but he looked impressive in what film I saw of him.

Edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Kerley

Apparently, Kerley has quite a resume.

as if the Panthers qb core couldn't get any worse they are signing Derek Anderson. I liked the guy ok in Cleveland and with that offensive coordinator there maybe they could get something out of him but I just don't see the point. Scam Newton and Jimmy Fail Clausen are bad enough to make me watch whatever is on the other channel here this year. could be worse I suppose they could bring Delhomme back.
