20 teams would be a colossal clusterfuck, as everyone fights over third-string tight ends. Just imagine Be's tantrum when he gets beaten to Dennis Pitta.

Two 10 or 12 team leagues with a promotion/relegation system might be needed with how many people want to play. Or just 2 leagues with 2 winners everywhere. Don't want to deny a dozen people a chance at an EWB league, but also don't really want to break up the old guard that's been doing this since 05, 06.

That would be my vote. My suggestion would be that the winner of the newer league would replace whoever finishes last in the older league next season.

If only we could set it up so the winners of both leagues play each other in Week 17 without having 2/3 of their players on the bench or IR...

This. Have all the new guys come up in League 2, the old guard in League 1. Top two in League 2 get promoted, bottom two in League 1 go down.

I was actually in a league like this once. Started out on Level 4, nearly got promoted to Level 3. Then the next year Level 4 was dropped and I never got an invite back.

And if you stop managing at the bottom of League 1 you pay the price, but if you stop playing at the bottom of League 2 you risk being invited back next year.
