Spotify is kind of like Pandora, except instead of grouping artists together by genre, you search and select the songs you want to listen to by artist. Its a rather cool new service that I know has been in europe for a few years now and is just now moving to the US. theres a free, ad-supported service, a $4.99 a month service with no ads, and a $9.99 a month service that includes an iPhone/Android app. I just got an invitation yesterday and love it so far. I have 5 invites to give out. Anyone interested?

All free Spotify has time limit, regardless of whether you were invited or not.

I remember when Spotify announced the stupid 10 hours a month thing, and the three plays per track thing. I haven't used it since.

Grooveshark is basically exactly the same, but with a shittier layout and no limits.

From what I've seen the free version is unlimited but ad supported. If anyone is interested I'll upload the Android app somewhere for people to try

There was, yeah, but they merged then together. Also you can now only listen to a song a maximum of five times a month.
