Topic title says it all. I can't find the PC requirements for The Sims on EA's sites, or anywhere else. A little help?

I'm talking just The Sims - no expansion packs - just the original "The Sims for PC".

Thank you. So, if I read correctly - it requires a Pentium II processor or higher - yes?

If it's less than 6 years old and isn't Soviet Yes I know that makes no sense It will play fine, The Sims isn't a Graphics card whore.

Yeah. Ummm...isn't it easily deduced that I have a Pentium II processor, and The Sims 2 will probably run on Pentium XIII or up <_< ?

Yeah, but its not out until September 124th, so by the time that date exists you may have upgraded. That has to be factored in.

Sims 2 specifications:

Using a graphics card with at least 32 MB of video RAM:

600 MHz P3 processor

256MB RAM if Windows XP, Windows ME, or Windows 2000

128MB RAM if Windows 98

I was unaware there are 124 days in the month of September. Sheesh - long month. And me, getting an upgrade, *bwahahahaha*. Yeah...right. I just spent all my money on the Sims on PS2 >_>

Yarrr. If only I could get my hands on a Pentium III processor.

The game(Sims 2) is slated for SPetmeber for sure. I asked an EB games representative when, and he said September 12th(or 14,15, one of them). I preordered my copy. I can't wait for this game!

One piece of advice: At least get the Livin' Large and House Party expansions, if you have the hard drive space.

I've got the game and all the expansions through Superstar. But I got bored with it, and deleted it off my hard drive a few months back.

(I'd also recommend getting Hot Date, because it adds a Downtown area to the game)

The upgrades are a useless pile of wank. Get The Sims, get Living Large and then download some free items.

I'm probably going to get it and one of the expansion packs from a friend who's offered to burn it for me, I just gotta ask him which exp. pack tomorrow..
