With the new Russian owners, Reading's transfer window has gone into overdrive in the rumour mill, so far i've been hearing the following rumours

Lewis McGugan

Jordan Rhodes

Billy Sharp

Jason Roberts

Roman Pavlyuchenko (?!) although that won't happen now as i've just seen spurs have signed him to another year

It's all going to be a load of bollocks. Rhodes is never going to want to leave Huddersfield for Reading anyway.

Also, I've heard utterly nothing on our end about Billy Sharp leaving. He's still considering our new contract, Reading is too far south for him and he knows in the summer he will be able to secure a move to the Premier League, not unlike Rhodes.

Wigan Athletic have agreed a fee with Birmingham City for winger Jean Beausejour, BBC Sport understands. The Chile international will now open talks with the Premier League bottom side over a potential move.

Everton's Russian winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is understood to be close to joining Russian club Spartak Moscow for a fee in the region of £5m. Spartak claim the 26-year-old Russia international has agreed personal terms, but talks are ongoing with Everton to finalise the deal.

Rabiu Ibrahim has been granted a work permit, allowing Celtic to complete the signing of the Nigerian midfielder, the Glasgow club has announced.

BBC Sport understands that Premier League Bolton have been granted a work permit for American defender Tim Ream.

can't stay mad with oo.

QPR have failed in their bid to sign Brazilian striker Henrique after a work permit application was turned down.

Henrique had spoken to new QPR manager Mark Hughes about joining from Sao Paulo on a reported 18-month loan deal, with a permanent transfer option.

The 20-year-old, the player of the tournament at the Under-20 World Cup last summer, claimed the move was "a fantastic opportunity".

However, the BBC understands that the club will not appeal at the decision.

A QPR spokesman said: "He didn't get a work permit for various reasons."

It was determined at a hearing on Monday that Henrique did not satisfy the required criteria for a permit.

Reasons for the refusal would have included his limited experience in club football, and the absence of senior international caps.
