343 Industries gets their first crack at a proper Halo iteration. Apparently the reveal will be on Conan's show later tonight.

Granted, I'm a Sony guy, so my time with Halo is minimal. MS Folk, what's your take on H4?

I'm just curious as to why it's being made. The major enemies from the first three games are no longer threats, so unless the Master Chief, while he's floating out in space, encounters something worse, I don't see the point. They've already made two side games. I think that the series might just be tapped out.

So has anyone actually gotten this? I've been addicted to it and it has made me start to read the Halo books I have again (just finished Ghosts of Onyx, reading Contact Harvest now). I'm glad to say I've improved in Halo since Reach, though I still have bad games sometimes.

Find the Thruster ability to be utterly useless as it doesn't seem to really do all that much. Using Hologram as my main ability, with a Camo loadout for when I get a Sniper/Beam/Binary rifle from Ordinance, Sentry loadout for smaller maps/objective game types, and then a Hardlight Shield and Regeneration Field one that I doubt I'll actually use.

The Ordinances are a nice addition and work really well, the new Flood mode is a lot more fun than Infection, and Big Team is the type I frequent the most (getting into more normal team slayer and Flood, though).
