I know little of Gaston Ramirez, except that he's young, Uruguayan and apparently quite good on the ball. I approve of all of these, though I'm sceptical about the validity of the Express, and £20M?! Jeez. I imagine that's beefed up as fees always are by the tabloids, but it can't be too many £M off. We really are getting bent the fuck over these days.

Yeah, the economy in Brazil is rising and the clubs are taking advantage on that. In 2009, Corinthians brought Ronaldo, Flamengo brought Adriano and Vágner Love. In 2011, Ronaldinho came back to Brazil to play for Flamengo. Now Seedorf goes to Botafogo, Malouda's moving to Vasco (hopefully w00t.gif), Zé Roberto came back, Fabio Aurelio came back, Del Piero is being rumoured with lots of clubs here. It's a great moment to watch brazilian football.

Seedorf loves Brazil, and he knows the history of Botafogo. Botafogo have been looking for him since last year and he has a huge respect for the club.

Brazil seems to be becoming a bit of a USA-type destination for players from the continent.

It's still a competitive league.

...And the MLS is not?

The level is too low when you compare to Brazil.

You forgot about Kris Boyd.
