Which players from your footy team would make an all time British squad?

I was just watching a short video on the Tottenham legend Danny Blanchflower and I'm certain he's one of the best British players there's ever been. Just wondering, from the team you support, which British players past or present would be in with a shout of making a British all-time squad? By this I mean the very very best that your team has had to offer.

From Spurs I'm thinking Blanchflower, Dave Mackay, Jimmy Greaves and Glenn Hoddle could all be there or there abouts.

Shearer and Beardsley I guess, with the big wildcard for Spurs and us of Gazza. Mebbe Hughie Gallacher, but I'm not really qualified to say.

Without sounding really biased, there would probably be a fair few Liverpool players, Dalglish, Keegan, Rush, Hansen, Emlyn Hughes, Hunt, Souness.

It's a really interesting question, and I'm supprised you isn't list Gary Lineker to be honest.

Now you mention players that have played for Liverpool and Newcastle, I'd forgotten John Barnes

Kevin Beattie or Terry Butcher might well be in with a shout. But Ipswich haven't really had a top quality player for years and years. If we're nominating managers, I'm pretty sure we'd have a top contender in Sir Alf Ramsey.

Eddie Gray, Peter Lorimer, Billy Bremner, John Charles Norman Hunter and maybe Johnny Giles, Jack Charlton, Paul Madeley and Gordon Strachan. If he'd have stayed fit his entire career I'd say Woodgate had the potential to be there too, Nigel Martyn could have been in with a chance had he ever had a chance on the international scene.

I'd say Rush was almost a certainty, he was a natural goal scorer, probably the best number 9 to play for us. We should probably limit it to a 23 man squad or something though
