Not sure why we'd bother with a loan rather than just selling him. Wonder what he'd go for if we did...

Chelsea tend not to be particularly fussy when it comes to selling players we don't want, so what we could end up with in that scenario is Newcastle benefiting from what has effectively been a 6 month loan deal.
