cory Monteith dead at 31

Recommended Posts

I don't watch Glee but considering his age, this is really shocking. It's a serious shame seeing as he was only 31. He recently went to rehab voluntarily for substance abuse, so it'd be awful if he died due to substances. R.I.P.

I've always been Cory's supporter in Glee discussion, and I'm quite dumbfounded by this news, even knowing his history with drugs. He was apparently set to marry Lea Michelle in 2 weeks, which makes this even more depressing. I've seen a lot of people on Twitter say it's the first celebrity death of their generation, and that just compounds the whole thing.

He was always my favourite part of Glee, even as the show dwindles in quality, and the show and several people's lives will poorer without him in them.

Very sad news, I can only concur with what Benji said about him being one of the main highlights of the episodes he was in, a lot of the time he seemed like the only character that had any sense of realism behind him. If he was going to marry Lea Michele in two weeks then that's just heartbreaking.

It's going to be very interesting to see how Glee handles this on-screen, I would assume that some kind of tribute/funeral episode will kick off the next season.

Never watched Glee, but I've seen him on talk shows and such. I'm 31 myself so its definitely too young to die. Such a tragic loss. :(
