Loved 'The Darjeeling Limited', but then again, I haven't watched a Wes Anderson film I haven't enjoyed.

'12 Years a Slave' was amazing - I couldn't necessarily pinpoint exactly what it was throughout the film, but I just left thinking 'yep....that was awesome'. The story, the acting, the scenery. Just everything worked so well.

'The Seventh Seal' was one I've had for a while, and only finally got around to watching. For someone who is as interested in films as you are, it is well worth the watch. Didn't blow me away, but you can see why it would have been considered fairly ground breaking in its day.

'The Five Year Engagement' was candy floss. Sweet, with little substance. Perfectly acceptable rom-com.

'The Lego Movie' was brilliant. Considering I'd set my thoughts so low when I first heard about it, I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the animation as well as the layers of wit and humour throughout. Highly recommended film.

Going to watch 'The Descendants' possibly now - depends on what the missus fancies.

Ah that's cool. I loved 12 Years & The Lego Movie, thought Darjeeling was better than its reputation, but not quite up to Anderson's best. I'm really looking forward to seeing The Seventh Seal, but I'm worried about what my reaction will be with Bergman, as I recently found I didn't like Louis Bunel's stuff as much as I expected. Would definitely recommend The Descendants, or any Alexander Payne film in general (except for Election, which I didn't like all that much.)

What else of Anderson's have you got left to watch? I've seen 'em all, and enjoyed them all. Really looking forward to his new one, too. None of them would crack an all time favourites list for me, but he's always really good fun. And Bill Murray's always about which is always good.

I seemingly have seen everything apart from 'Bottle Rocket'. The only one I didn't like was 'The Life Aquatic....', but I watched that before I watched any of his others, and just don't think I 'got it'.

I subsequently have bought it once more, to give it another go now that I have grown more accustomed to his style of storytelling. Will definitely be down the cinema to see the new one when it comes out.

I didn't love 'Life Aquatic' anywhere near as much as a lot of people seem to, either. I think I need to give it another watch, too. Bottle Rocket's good, and worth watching, but I'd say it's my least favourite of his, which I think is good. It's nice to see a director get better as he goes along.

1. Inception.

2. Wolf Of Wall Street.

3. IP Man.

4. Class Of 92.

5. Attack The Block.

6. Nebraska.

7. Cypher- Was really hard to understand and not that good, Lucy Liu being in it kind of made up for it being pretty lackluster.

8. The Wolverine- This was better than Origins, it was a pretty good film wasn't too keen on the last fight scene or in general the villain, it kind of seemed to obvious

that it was the way they were going.

9. Killing Bono- This wasn't a memorable film at all it was really lacklustre and pretty boring for a comedy film, the pro I have for it was the guy that played Nathan in misfits was awesome in this.

10. Drinking Buddies- This was really good, was completely surprised and the acting was amazing for a romantic comedy it was really good plus it had Anna Kendrick .

11. Thor The Dark World- Was really disappointed in this, I had high hopes from the first one and that was probably the worst thing it just didn't add up maybe i'll have to watch it again, past the end credits was good as it sets up nicely for the avengers 2.

12. Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox- I don't usually watch animated DC/Marvel films but I'll start now wow, this was truly amazing it was really done and I actually liked the alternate universe batman, now I need to see if Justice League: War is as good or even better.

13. Jackass 2- These are so brilliantly stupid, I can't believe some of the stuff they do but it makes a very entertaining watch.

1) The Darjeeling Limited

2) 12 Years a Slave

3) The Seventh Seal

4) The Five-Year Engagement

5) The Lego Movie

6) Beauty and The Beast

7) Cool Runnings

8) The Descendants

9) The Impostor

The Descendants was very good - not amazing, but a very watchable, easily enjoyable film. Clooney is very good in it, as are the girls who play his two daughters.

The Impostor is an insane documentary. Not helped by me watching it in three separate sittings, but the story of how a French adult managed to con his way into an American family by assuming the identity of their missing son is just mind blowing.

The former includes another wonderful performance from Pete Postelthwaite.

I've accepted that there's no way I'm catching up, but I still wanna see how well I can do.

10 Inch Hero was kind of cute but way to sappy. It was like a R-rated after school special. Kind of liked it, though.

Lego Movie was just okay. I'm sure I would've adored it as a kid, but it felt a little overhyped. The pace in particular was way too fast. I know it's a kids movie but it was like for kids with ADHD or something. Cute movie overall. Will Arnett as Batman stole the show, and goddamn that song was addicting.

Figured I'd give some love to an older classic I've never seen, and Touch of Evil was pretty solid all things considered.

Clerks was good, although it's obviously dated as hell like a lot of Kevin Smith's stuff.(Video store? Haha). This was my third movie of his I've seen, as I watched Mallrats and Chasing Amy last year. Not counting Cop Out because it's fucking Cop Out. Eww...

Holy shit I hated Now You See Me. Such a silly, unbelievable, convoluted farce. The big twist made zero fucking sense. As if we're supposed to believe no one could put that together. Also, everyone in the movie was pretty much a dick character-wise. Such a waste of a good ensemble cast.

Christopher made fun of me after because I thought Clooney was actually alive when he came back to the pod and drank some Vodka with her. I can't be the only one who thought that right?
