The 2014 EWB Fantasy Baseball League

Can someone clear up the # of pitchers we'll be playimg with? Being a noobie and all I'm a bit lost.

We'll be playing with 7, Two must be Starting Pitchers, two must be Relief, and then you can Mix/Match for the remaining 3

As far as strategy, there seems to be two trains of thought. Srar and I (geniuses that we are) have opted to go for the bats long before any pitchers. I've decided that relievers > starters since they play more often. Pitching categories include wins, saves, strikeouts, ERA, strike-to-walk ratio, so there are advantages to having consistently strong starters and excellent relievers. Bartolo Colon wound up winning me several win categories, even if he hardly ever struck out anyone.

You've probably noticed that I have reserved Cloudy's spot. He sent in a list and people from that list are still available, so either he or I will make that pick once Niner's deadline passes (in roughly 45 minutes) or makes his pick.

Edit: Lo and behold, Cloudy gets a BJ.
