  1. Can't wait to listen to the battle between United and Everton fans as to who ended our title challenge for the next 6 weeks
  2. The team that not only played better but wanted it more won. Fair play. Painfully limping towards the end of Klopp's reign. Fulham must be like how the fuck did they beat us given our performances since March See, I thought that FA Cup game was after 2010 the one ITV missed the goal so was shocked it was actually longer than it was. Turns out it was 19th placed Liverpool under Woy that day who then went on to say it was our best performance of the season
  3. Didn't the owner of Forest go on a ref tangent in Greece saying they hated Olympiakos before? If so least he's consistent. I don't think the decisions against Forest or the notable ones are ones that are by any means highly controversial. The handball I've seen given and other times not.
  4. Anything Limmy will always get a reaction from me. Clattenburg heard what Neville said after our game and went all scorched earth.
  5. We scored twice from open play! Trent's freekick was lovely, a goal for Gravenberch and Jota scored a Jota goal. Goal to concede was us being sloppy again. Big win against a tough team
  6. Gonna get battered by the blue half in the final
  7. Two shite pens from centre midfielders from Manchester teams this past week
  8. Was saying earlier in the week to my blue nosed friends that I think 30 points will be enough. Luton can't defend at all, Forest have been very meh and Burnley are leaving it too late and have mistakes in them. Do think Forest should have two penalties like.
  9. Troy Deeney said he was the nicest smelling defender he's come up against. But then Troy Deeney has said some mad stuff over the last few months so don't think his word holds up to much.
  10. State of the other 17 teams in the league being below washed up Liverpool
  11. For me its a combo of 1) players who haven't been injured are probably fatigued. Especially cause a lot of games we've gone behind and then have had to chase and comeback. Mac Allister for example has played a lot of minutes 2) Players are coming back and having to get up to speed again 3) Issues with finishing and creativity hasn't helped. You can have all the ball and no create anything or have loads of shots but if they're crap it means nothing. 4) Klopp looks so tired and I think the emotional drain is there for players, staff and fans as well. A lots been put on the "fairytale ending" from all sides. 5) Teams have just got their tactics right. Palace exploited spaces left and defended well, Atalanta hurried us with the press and when we had the ball and they weren't pressing marked all available options
  12. Atalanta got their tactics spot on in the 2nd half. Just another limp performance with no creativity, bad passes and just what feels a lack of effort
  13. Added time, penalty to tie it....does that
  14. You're the only team that would be smashing another team and have your own players get a hissy fit over who takes the penalty.
  15. You can join us at the flapped it table
  16. I think we are pretty much Arsenal last year in the emotion has gotten to us. Such a daft goal to concede, wasteful, out of ideas. It's weird cause the grand scheme of things, we've gone from missing out on Champions League to being in the title race and exceeding the target but man the last week has just been soul crushing. 5 points dropped, battered in the Europa League and just looking more and more inept
  17. Always a joy to piss off the rest of the country!
  18. Least the two games against United was piss poor finishing. That was just piss poor all round. Possibly the worst performance in a few years that. It's weird cause I've not come away from the ground thinking we've been outplayed here. Thought they were solid and that's it. Instead I've come away feeling all 3 goals were avoidable, no one was making any movement and the tempo was slow and thay we just couldn't kick a ball to anyone in a red shirt properly
  19. Last night made me miss away goals in a sense. Its just practically 0-0 both games. I thought the last round missed a bit of jeopardy without it and it felt very paint by the numbers.
  20. I'd go with useless but I'm a grumpy git. You hear the whistle, its not on the ref to go ah that's a silly mistake we'll let it go. I did think he got the Saka call right at the end as well. Only because Saka sticks his leg out to make contact.
  21. It is mad when really you have the Barca/Bayern/Liverpool jobs available and then potentially Man Utd, Juve if Allegri does go this summer as rumoured. Its not often you get so many big name clubs having jobs available (in terms of statute not necessarily where they are atm) especially if people leave other clubs to pursue any of the above
  22. I've got faith in the team behind the scenes if that they've identified Amorim to be the guy then I'll back him and once Alonso ruled himself out Amorim was probably the second choice for me. Rather him than De Zerbi Anyone who comes in after Klopp is always going to be difficult but if he's eager for the job that's a positive for me.
  23. Taking obvious bias out of this, I really don't think the takeover is going to be good for Everton either. The fact its still not approved and the fact there are issues with 777 with other clubs and themselves as a company having legal issues due to payments suggests the grass isn't necessarily greener. I honestly think they're looking at the benefits of the stadium more than anything.
  24. The social media chat about it has made me giggle over the last few months. The only thing we can say is the price was a steal considering how much other midfielders have gone for this season but that's taking advantage of a release clause I don't think its a coincidence he's kicked on since Endo (who has been brilliant this year) has solidified his place in the team and its given the midfield a lot more balance. Its nice having gone from the midfield options and lack of goal contributions they provided last season to what we have now.
