  1. 50 dissed her on the infamous Funk Flex freestyle, the same one he dissed Shyne on.
  2. I'd love to see Peter pull it out as I believe he's got a huge future in front of him. But the future's not here yet and he won't win this one.
  3. Which is why he's said many times that he'll probably retire before passing Aaron. All he cares about is the #2 slot. Hell, he even put retirement after #660 into consideration. ←
  4. This post clearly shows how little you know about the business of sports. Bonds lazy? Him being at the park constantly would've been a major distraction. Do you realize how much of a media following he would've gotten? It would've taken attention off of the team and had he done that........I'm willing to bet any amount of money you would've come here and posted that you hate him because he likes attention. ←
  5. You're the one who said you hated him, why not post YOUR thoughts.
  6. You lose, you take the extra punishment from Coach the next week, you get your shit together and win the next one. I've never heard of this crying over a loss thing, with the possible exception being state/national title games. As far as me, I was always angry after a loss, though I never had the cops called on me. Teammates knew to just leave me alone and let me cool off.
  7. So by that logic Oklahoma is just about the worst team in the Big 12 right? One (non conference) game cannot have any bearing on which team is best in a conference unless that team's star player gets a major injury. If Michigan wins 56-0 next time they play and OSU wins 7-6, does that mean OSU suddenly sucks? This kind of comment incidentally is why I hate Buckeye fans and the team they support. Hail to the victors baby! Hail to the victors! ←
  8. All this talk about talent and who's better than who, blah blah blah. Nobody brings up the changes to the BCS? The fact that there's now a human committee factor? As a long time supporter of the BCS, I'll reserve my comments but definately open that up for discussion. As far as the year goes, lemme summarize like this.... Heisman: Vince Young Runner Up: Reggie Bush Texas will beat Michigan in the national title game. Only reason I've got the Wolverines there is because I believe they'll go undefeated and I can't really say that about any other team. USC will lose to either Cal or Arizona and Tennessee's not going to run through the SEC without at least one loss. And yes Biggzay, I agree, there should be no pre-season rankings. Edit: Not sure why I quoted Biggz.
  9. So PG-13 is worse than PG? I always thought it was the other way around. PG-13 means you need a parents guidance unless you're 13, but then just plain PG means you need guidance no matter what, right? So yea...just clarifying.
  10. Although Hockey is easily the sport I know the least about (of the North American 4 at least), I'll pitch in what I can. Getting into it now is probably the best option since it's in a re-start phase with new rules and whatnot. The kid, Sydney Crosby (I believe) that got drafted #1 by Pittsburgh is supposed to be the second coming of Gretzky (feel free to correct me) and, for lack of a better comparison, could be to hockey what Lebron is to the NBA. A bright, young star who they can build the marketing campaign around. I haven't looked at the new rules yet, but I was told they're allowing two line passes now, which as someone above me said, should improve scoring and make it more TV friendly. As far as who to cheer for, you'll find a team you like. But if you like the wrong team in the wrong city, it can get ugly. Being a Wings fan living in Denver, I know.
  11. I saw him explain the song in an interview first and then, after hearing what it was about, I checked it out. Not a big Cannon fan, but the song's definately one of those that'll make ya think.
  12. Most trades make sense at the time of the trade, especially with baseball since you're talking about minor leaguers. Almost everyone in baseball started off somewhere else. Just look at who came up through the Expos system (Pedro, Randy Johnson, Larry Walker, Andres Gallaraga, etc). I'll go with Charles Barkley being shipped to Phoenix for Tim Perry and two others.
  13. I'd love to see Allen with the Clippers, but they claim their top priority is re-signing Bobby Simmons and they simply can't have both under their current cap.
  14. Personally, I think Mobley should head to Charlotte. He's a great leader and roleplayer who could greatly help their youthfulness. Bronnie wants Curry in Cleveland and you know there are teams who will throw the World at Tyson Chandler, so that Bulls core could definately be in trouble. I'd like to see Antonio Daniels head to Cleveland just because he has the capabilities to play the one and two. Him and Bronnie in the backcourt would have a level of versatility that could be interesting.
  15. I never understood why Kimmel kept putting him on the show either, but at least Andy was funny in some of those skits. I caught the last episode of the Andy Milinokis show and it was definately crap.
  16. Anyone know of a good free baseball sim league? Preferably OOTP, but could do baseball mogul or others as well. Only time I had been in one was when Biggzy ran it but have had the urge lately, just not sure where to look.
  17. In one of the last tracks on the album, he explains why he mentions his name and number so much. Goes back to when he was trying to get on and he would go up to artists/local promoters with his tapes and they'd say "Mike Jones? Who?" He was gonna change his name, his grandma told him to keep his given name, so he did and gave out his cell number with it. Not a thrilling story, but that's what he gives.
