    Poker

I'd be up for it. Am I the only one who plays professionally on here though?

What do you guys normally play on? Lots of easy money on Empirepoker.com. Won about 70 bucks in a middle limit 7-card stud game there.
  3. Longest Yard looks awful. I forgot to mention that I'm also looking forward to Ring Two.
  4. I've read the graphic novel. Pretty heavy stuff, not sure if it'd make a good movie because it's very deep and has a very thick plot. I really like Portman though so she balances out my hatred of Joel Silver.
  5. A Very Long Engagement is the best foreign film of the year hands-down. Sorry I just didn't like House of Flying Daggers. If you can go see A Very Long Engagement, you'll probably have to add it pretty high to your list though. Another movie I hope is pretty high would be Mean Creek.
  6. But the directer of Hitchhiker's Guide is not some studio tool, he is actually an avid fan and was the leader of some fan club type thing. So it won't be butchered to badly.
  7. 1. Star Wars: Episode III 2. Sin City 3. Batman Begins 4. War of the Worlds 5. King Kong 6. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire 7. Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy 8. Kicking and Screaming 9. Fun With Dick & Jane 10. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
  8. I dont know how you could give Saw the same rating as Walking Tall. Saw is definatly a 5/10 movie but Walking Tall was 2/10 at best. It was awful. An action movie with hardly any action, a comedy with hardly any laughs, a drama with hardly any drama. It's just a totally let down from The Rock previous movie "The Rundown". I thought Walking Tall was just plain awful. "Maria Full of Grace" better be on your list or else you need to see better movies.
  9. I like the music but not the singers and the lyrics are just plain awful. I agree with whoever said I'd like them more if it wasn't for the vocals.
  10. I didn't like it. I like Antoine Fuqua too so I had high hopes after he said he was trying to make a gritty film. I dunno, it was boring and had an awful script. Clive Owen is the only good thing in the whole film. I felt it was just a wasted opportunity.
  11. I think just in terms of a family film with a message, i dunno. I saw the movie for free with a friend who works for a movie theater. It was so horrible. Not only did I not laugh once but I was offended about how pro-conformity it was.

    BONER~!

Funny, considering he was the one that decided to wear the make-up for authenticity. ←
  13. They probably should have just released it straight to DVD. Wuld have made more money as word of mouth about the movie is terrible. And yes, Ben Affleck needs to start reading scripts for himself now. Although he did agree to star in a movie about Texas Hold'em which I will definatly end up seeing. For two reason, 1) to see if he can do better than Matt Damon's "Rounders", and 2) because I love me my Texas Hold 'Em.

Del Toro doesn't really look like Jackie Boy to me. But it's Del Toro so fuck it. YEs, I've been dying to see this movie since Robert Rodriguez said he was going to do it. Sin City is my favorite graphic novel series of all-time. EDIT: Hopefully this movie shows what a movie made on the computer can do better then that peice of crap Sky Captain.

I hate his acting style. Only movie I thought he was good in was "Saving Private Ryan"...all the other movies I've seen that have him he is always the worse part, acting wise. I think he's just a horrible actor.

I hate Barry Pepper and I don't like racing so..no..haven't seen it. My boyfriend watched it though and said it was your typical "Sentimental made-for-tv movie".
  17. I'm glad Mean Creek is getting something, at least from the Spirit Awards. It was one of the most powerful films of the entire year. EDIT: Sideways is one of the best films of the year. Would be my favorite movie of the year if Eternal Sunshine and Finding Neverland had not come out.

  19. I dunno, the whole movie was just amazing in my opinion. :ohwell:
  20. Technically The Nightmare Before Christmas wasn't a Tim Burton movie. He wrote the original story and served as creative consultant but it was made by another directer and writer.
