  1. Anyone know any good websites that provide free downloads for indie music? MP3.COM used to be one of my favorite places to go and find artists I've never heard before but they got screwed when they started offering national bands songs on there. Anyone know any good sites?
  2. Dane Cook and Eddie Izzard are my personaly favorite. Steven Wright is good for a laugh too.
  3. Brian Cox Best actor to never win an Oscar.
  4. Born on a Different Cloud is my favorites just because it reminds me of one of my friends who passed away.
  5. Anyone else on here play the PC Version of Counter-Strike? Not Counter-Strike: Source or Counter-Strike Condition Zero, just Counter-Strike. If you do play; What's your favorite (non-user made) map? What's your favorite weapon? Anyone wanna play sometime?
  6. Yes, Antoine Fuqua originally designed the movie to be a gritty realistic Fall movie but Disney decided half-way through that they wanted it to be a summer movie rated PG-13. So he had to cut a bunch of shit out and it was rushed like crazy. I would really like to see the movie as it was meant to be seen.

    The Warriors

I thought Walter Hill was directing it again.
  8. Loved that movie as a kid. My favorite line: "Scary German guy is bitchin!"
  9. I think you guys are going off topic. Originally it was movies so bad you were embarressed to be watching them. I think you guys are just starting to list movies you didn't like.
  10. A couple of the movies you guys are naming are bad but I just can't see how you can feel embarresed to see them. The Matrix movies? The LOTR movies? I mean I loved those movies but I understand that some people won't like them however to say that you were embarresed from watching it is just really really overly dramatic I think.

    The Warriors

There is a remake of The Warriors in the works.
  12. The book actually was very good, from what I've heard (I couldn't read it after seeing the movie). IIRC, the movie had been in planning for a LONG time, with Travolta originally set to play the other lead role, but he was too old by the time they got around to shooting the movie. ←
  13. Battlefield Earth. I felt dirty afterwards. :ohwell:
  14. I've never liked the covers of Another Brick in the Wall pt2 because that song is from a concept album. I mean it's a good song but taken out of context with the rest of the album that's all it is. Plus it seems bands cover it just because it has a cool anti-establishment chorus but it's actually pro-school and education. So I dunno, i don't like it obviously.
  15. Nicholson in Mars Attacks = Good Rest of Mars Attacks = Bad
  16. The original movie was pretty damn dark though. I mean if they made the tunnel scene today they'd be slapped with a PG-13 rating for sure just for disturbing content.
  17. I hope Burton goes the route of Edward Scissorhands and not Mars Attacks with the tone.
  18. I'll never forgive him for crushing Kevin Smith's Superman script even though it would have been such a fantastic movie if you've ever read it.

    KMFDM

I like them too. MDFMK is crap though.
  20. I hate liking Tim Burton movies because I hate him as a person. It's a paradox. I think this will be a good movie and hopefully will earn Depp an Oscar. I have a feeling he'll be nominated for "Finding Neverland" and deserves to win but Jamie Foxx will win because everyone loves Ray...except me. Plus, the kid playing Charlie is the one who played Peter in "Finding Neverland" and I swear that kid is the boy version of Dakota Fanning. Damn he was good. Anyways, I can't wait for this one.
  21. Radiohead - "2+2=5" Unkle w/ Thom Yorke - "Rabbit in your headlights" Portishead - "Sour Times" Primer 55 - "My Girl" Rob D - "Clubbed to Death" The Cure - "Prayers for Rain" Tool - "46 and 2" Nine Inch Nails - "Burn" Blur - "Girls and Boys" Radiohead - "Exit Music (for a film)"
